Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I didn't quite knew where else to put it? :/

I have to order my WDW tickets for November.
I'm doing this through www.disneyworld.com, because there are 4 of us, so we can use the "my Disney experience" section.

I'm about to order my 6-day pass/tickets, and it clearly states I'm from BELGIUM.

It's asking me how I want the tickets.

I get 4 options.
- on call (pick-up)
- US domestic
- US domestic ... (faster then regular domestic)
- International express

Obviously the international option is much more expensive, hehe.

I tried checking regular US domestic, and it's actually letting me do this.
I'm on the last page now, all I have to do is agree to the terms and conditions, and click "accept".

It's not giving me any reason why I can't choose the US domestic mail service.

So can I just use this for shipping outside of the US? Or do I really need the International service.
(I don't care if it takes a week or 2 longer for them to arrive, I still got 4 months)

You want to choose
- on call (pick-up)

When you do that, the confirmation number you are given will
allow you to make FP+ reservations when your time-frame comes due.

No need for you to have the tickets shipped to you.

Don't risk the shipping. Choose the will call pickup option as the above poster suggested. It gives you a code to link to My Disney Experience for each ticket. Print your confirmation receipt with barcodes and bring them to the hotel checkin desk or guest services at the parks.

I live 2 states away and I decided that was easier than having my tickets get lost in the mail.

I'd imagine if you choose Domestic US that there will be a problem and your tickets will get lost in the system somewhere.

Do magic bands always ship, or is there an option for will call for those? Is it better to ship them or pick up? What if i want them five days before my resort stay?

Thanks

1- In the USA, MB are shipped to guests who have a WDW Resort stay scheduled (with enough time in advance
of the check-in date.)

2- No reason to not accept them shipped.

3- I don't understand the question.
Do you mean you only have 5 days before your trip?
What is the significance of 5 days?

If you wait to order your MB until a few days before your trip
(as in, you make a resort reservation just a few days before your arrival,)
your MB won't be shipped, but you will get them at WDW resort check-in.

If you mean that you want to USE the MB at the parks 5 days before your check-in:

You CAN do that if you bought your park tickets separately from your resort stay.

You CANNOT do that if you bought your park tickets as a part of a package including your resort stay.
But, you CAN activate your resort package tickets up to THREE days before your resort check-in date.
Just take your resort info to any Guest Relations outside any park to get activation of the tickets.

This

And this is why I was pretty sure I wanted to get my tickets separately. Thank you for the extra confirmation.

If I get magic bands and tickets separately will I still be getting hard tickets or will they just link them to my Magic account thingy?

(so close to understanding....)

Order the tickets "will-call/pick-up."

Then, you can just use the MBs...
but I would ALSO stop by any ticket booth or Guest Relations (at some point) and pick up the plastic RFID tickets, too.
The tickets can be used if there is a problem with the MagicBands.

Now maybe this worked different because I'm in the US but I ordered out tickets directly from Disney and they were automatically linked to our MDE account. I didn't have to do anything. The CM that I spoke to when I placed the order said she was sending tickets "as a back up" but I wouldn't need them to book our FP, since it was all linked in there for me.

As Robo said, I'm glad I have them in case we have MB issues so do get them from will-call but hopefully you won't have to do anything in MDE to get them to show up.

Though heaven knows with MDE it rarely seems to work the same way for 2 different people. :badpc:
