Is anyone else frustrated with online shopping this Christmas? I have orders from two stores that have been stuck in "processing for shipping" for a week now. It's started to really annoy me. One of the orders is an item that is now out of stock on the website and I'm starting to get nervous that it won't ship.

Yep. Toys r us processed an order took my money then realized they didn't have the item. Took 14 days to get my hundred bucks back...
Then Lego sent a confirmation, had a pending payment in my acct (which disappeared) and sent my shipment. I have still not been billed. I called yesterday and the girl said "don't' worry, it will come out of your account eventually". I called my bank and they said nothing was pending from Lego anymore. ? Lol

What stores?

I know amazon has been quick (they always are).

Kohl's was much better this year. Last year it took forever for everything that I ordered on Black Friday.

Crate & Barrel was very quick, too.

I know my parent were on vacation and ordered an otterbox. They shipped it to my house because they wouldn't be home. It was supposed to be delivered last Friday, but was delayed because of the storms. It now has a deliver date of tomorrow.

Groupon is taking forever. I order something on 11/23. It just shipped yesterday!!!

It is frustrating, but I much rather shop online than go to the stores or malls.

Good Luck!!!

Actually I've had no problems....even ordered from new places.
Everything came within a week of ordering...even OAKLEY VAULT which was slooow last year was here fast! Only had delay from Amazon on a gift...due to weather which I understand.

Kohls and Macys. The Macy's order has taken so long that the pending charge isn't listed on my card anymore. The
money is taken from my card balance but there's no charge listed. I actually emailed Kohl's to find out if there's a problem and got an auto response saying due to an increase in email inquiry it will take up to 5 days for a response.

I have two things from barnes and noble that were supposed to be delivered Monday but weren't because of the weather (at least I think that's why). They went from out for delivery to delivered to back at the post office with a expected delivery for tomorrow.

Hopefully it will all come in and I won't be running around the week before Christmas to find replacement gifts. The Macy's order is the one I'm most worried about because it's not available on the website anymore and it will be harder to find a replacement gift for that one.

I'm waiting on 2 Macy's orders. It was the same order but the items are being shipped seperately and they better get her by Christmas because they are my presents!

Amazon is super fast this year. I had 2 orders from Macy's..one was here exactly when stated, the other was on a 'late trailer' from UPS, was supposed to have been delivered last Thursday, got here Monday nite instead.

Kohl's sent me an email a few days ago stating that because of weather issues, their shipments got delayed. I just got my shipping info yesterday for things ordered Black Friday & they should be here this Monday.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how fast all my online shopping orders have been shipped :thumbsup2. I ordered a personalized photo travel mug on Saturday and it arrived yesterday :goodvibes. I ordered a North Face jacket from 6pm over the weekend and it arrived yesterday (never used that website before). Everything has come within a week's time from my order.

Kohl's is the worst every year. This year, they never sent me updated info on an order...I logged in to see that two of my items had shipped, but the third item was "in fulfillment"...that item arrived before the other two that had tracking numbers. It's been weeks and the item still says in fulfillment!

I also ordered a toy for my niece who lives across the US from me and it hasn't shipped yet. I ordered it over a week ago.

Amazon & Staples have been awesome as always. Even Target is impressing me (first online order with them).

Last year's on-line shopping went great. This year not so much.

My biggest problem - a package that was held up by UPS because it needed a "required customs inspection". The package was being sent from Wisconsin to Massachusetts. It sat in the UPS office one town over from where I live for a week. I talked to UPS, the vendor talked to UPS, we had a three way call with UPS. The package just sat and the on-line status showed no expected delivery date. Then yesterday it showed up on my doorstep. I was quite relieved.

Other than that I have had retailers being slow to process orders. Amazon is the one exception. I have Prime and it is great. Not a single problem. But you have to be careful with Amazon because they can be seriously overpriced sometimes.

you think so? all my amazon purchases now have requires 1-2 days before shipping on top of the 2 day shipping.

them using all USPS is more annoying then ever, crappy tracking system... i wish they would still use other services like ontrac(southwest states only).

My DH works for UPS and they've been SLAMMED this year, far more than any other year he's worked there (this is his 8th holiday season). He is literally working 2x the hours of last year. It's crazy.

They are using every truck and driver they have, plus some rentals, and it is still impossible to get everything delivered on time. Crazy. Not sure what the reason is, but at least some people think the economy is just fine. :cool1:

I ordered from The Gap on Nov 29. They just shipped the items yesterday. That's been the worst of the bunch. I do feel that I've been waiting a few days longer for each shipment than I'm used to.

I haven't had problems with the package being delivered on time. Even the ones that had the delivery changed were ahead of expected delivery to begin with. The weather likely played a role in the date being changed, totally understandable.

It's the stores processing the orders and shipping them that is annoying me.
I'be noticed amazon seems to take days to process their orders now. It used to be a day or two but now it's more like 4.

The Disney store actually shipped my order quickly but the one breakable item in the order was broken. It was in a box with nothing to cushion it and that box was put in the big box with the other stuff I ordered. Of course it's out of stock but they gave me a credit quickly. I would have rather had the item unbroken.

I've had problems with The Disney Store showing things as in stock, letting me purchase and pay, then suddenly discovering that those things were out of stock....several days later. Annoying.

Everyone has been great, except the Gap -- but they're always terrible. Unfortunately the wish list items I had to get were only available online. :sad2:

Have ordered a ton from Amazon in last month and they are super speedy as always. Waiting on an order from DressBarn that said it might be delayed due to weather. As I type this I am sitting here waiting on UPS guy for package that I have to sign for.:lmao: Seems like most everything I have ordered has come on time or even before it is suppose to be here
