I am sure this has been asked before but I can't seem to track down the answer. I have a DS - 11 ,and having reviewed the mens at several of the restaurants, would be much happier ordering off the kids menu. Is this a problem?

Honestly, I am not sure of the table service, but at the counter service, how will they know who you are ordering for. I'm an adult, and I have ordered children's food when I wasn't that hungry. I send my DH to the counter. He orders his adult and my child, meanwhile, I'm getting ketchup/napkins/straws and the table set. Kill two birds with one stone. They are not going to look for a child. But maybe someone could help with the table service

My DD orders off the child's menu all the time, with no problems at all (even at the TS restaurants)!! At the TS restaurants, she has always been given a child's menu w/crayons! She loves chicken nuggets and that's what she orders almost every time! Where else but Disney can you eat chicken nuggets every day????

Shouldn't be a problem at all as Disney is very accommodating when it comes to this :goodvibes. Whenever my oldest DS couldn't find something on the adult menu he liked, he would order chicken tenders or something like that and they would just bring him an adult-sized portion of it (being he's almost 15 and has been an "adult" in Disney's eyes for 5 years now, I'm used to this :lmao:).

My dd does this on every trip and it's never been a problem. She isn't at all interested in most of the selections on the adult menu's.

June 2007 we had an early dinner at Coral Reef and they were very accommodating. My DS8 wanted a steak - not on the kid's menu. (Why is it always chicken nuggets, pizza, or mac n cheese! :confused3 ) (well, actually, they did offer fish and grilled chicken -atleast there was some variety there) anyway, not wanting to pay 30 bucks for him to eat, I asked if we could share the steak. No problem! :thumbsup2 Friends' DS10 DS3 and DD12 each ordered off the kid's menu. The 10 year old boy is never full, but actually seemed satisfied with his appetizer, pizza, and dessert. (BTW DS3 - only ate his dessert. He said "no more macaroni" :rotfl2:)

DD11 eats very little so she usually shares a meal with me or orders off the kids menu. The restaurant always knows how old she is and it is never a problem.

At a la carte restaurants, anyone of any age can order off the kids menu. It's only at buffets that you will be charged by the age of the diner, regardless of how much or how little someone eats.
