Ordering off lunch menu at dinner time?

Hi All,

We are thinking of going to Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner one night and I was wondering if they allow you to order lunch menu items at dinnertime? There is nothing on the dinner menu that appeals to me but there are a couple of lunch items. Also, grilled chicken strips are on the children's lunch menu but not dinner and my DS won't eat off the dinner menu either! TIA!

Well, I've never tried it, but is there a reason you won't go for lunch?

My DS is 3 and usually naps/meltdowns right around lunchtime so for our sanity and the rest of the diners we stick to breakfasts and dinners

I have done it at Sci-Fi....usually I think they try to accomodate you.

Heck, I've had breakfast at dinner time at Kona! I think they will try. However, please keep in mind that the servers at Whispering Canyon Cafe will likely give you grief. The last time I was there and someone tried to order something out of the ordinary, the server yelled quite loudly "What, do you think this is Burger King? Do you see any signs that say have it your way?"

It always depend on the restaurant, the type of food for both meals, etc.

At dinnertime, they have already set up prep for the dinner time and put away the lunch time prep items for the next day. If they have something on the menu that can be put together to make something off the lunch menu, then they can do it. It doesn't hurt to ask.

But at WCC - beware, you may be the entertainment for the evening.
