Ordering Merchandise From The Hotel Gift Shops

Does anyone know, if you can do this? I'd like to get my DH & DS one of the HRH lanyards to put in a gift basket I'm making for a vacation surprise. It would be great to be able to order one ahead of time, so I could assemble the entire basket before leaving home. Plus, I don't know how I could purchase them after we get to the hotel w/o my guys seeing me. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the answer to your question, but would you mind if I ask what kind of other things you are putting in the "goodie basket" I'd love to do something like that. My kids are 13 and 16 and this is our first major vacation (I know that's horrible, but...) so I'm trying to do as many memorable things as I can to make it fun and special.

To be honest I was very disappointed in the HRH gift shop. It is a Hard Rock gift shop with a few sundries for travelers (books, tylenol etc). No US/IOA merchandise what-so-ever, no postcards, no lanyards.

In my DS's basket, I plan to put a lanyard, a couple cd's, sun glasses, gum, copy of the MIB cheat sheet from the sticky at the top of the USO/IOA board, & a roll of quarters for the arcades. That's all I've thought of so far. I got some of these suggestions from members on here. As I think of more, I'll post it here. Let me know, if you come up with anything else.

Someone on here said they bought lanyards at the HRH gift shop. I don't remember who it was. I'll have to go back & look for the thread. We've stayed at HRH before. I thought the gift shop was fine for merchandise, but was severely lacking in other items. We don't buy much of the theme park merchandise anyway. FWIW, the shops at PBH are great!

We were just there 2 weeks ago. I needed postcards and DH needed a lanyard (couldn't find his old one). We asked and the HRH giftshop carries neither postcards or lanyards (or any other US/IOA merchandise either). We ended up getting them at the RPR giftshop when we went to Tchooup Chop for dinner the first night.

I would call PBR and get them to connect you to the UO shop there. They are very accomodating at this location.
