Ordering Groceries

It's been quite awhile since I've had groceries delivered to my resort and was wondering where is the best place to order from for a small order. We will be staying at POFQ next month and will need a case or more of bottled water. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

If you are an Amazon Prime member that’s one budget easy route.
As well, various local supermarkets such as Publix, Whole Foods and Walmart deliver with cost depending on how much you are spending generally.

Publix’s delivery platform is just a customized Instacart storefront so you might as well just use the IC app if you want to order from them. I go with that because I think it’s the best of the options, if not necessarily the cheapest.

Another route is to check DoorDash. They also deliver from grocery stores. I have used them to deliver while at Disney. Also, my credit card has a monthly DD credit for "groceries" which this is great for.

I swear someone just asked about a small order for like a case of water literally for POFQ but it has completely disappeared...

I've used Kroger, Amazon, Walmart and Instacart over the years. They all seem to be ok, sometimes what you want isn't in stock so pick substitutions if the system lets you. I use WM currently because I get a free membership with my Amex.

And there is no "best" option for grocery delivery or small grocery orders at WDW. You can order anything for delivery but if you order doesn't reach minimum levels it will be surcharged on top of the delivery charge on top of the tip and you won't really save much. And Disney will slap a package/grocery charge on if they bring it to your room. Maybe start by looking at the order minimums and surcharges before your trip and consider snacks or something else you can add.

We usually use UberEast. Mostly because we have a subscription and we're used to it. I expect they might not be the cheapest but at the very least they have everything we need, we can choose which store to buy from and the selection is large enough we don't miss anything.

Technically, you could probably do it now, but I'd look perhaps a week out. If you have a particular need (like very early or a specific hour), do it sooner rather than later.

Also, from experience, make sure you designate whether you're staying at Jambo House or Kidani for the delivery. You don't want to have to go chasing down your order on the other side of the resort!

A few years ago Target bought them. You pay shelf prices at Target and a few other stores.

Some VISA cards have deals which waive membership fees or lower then or lower them.

We have used Vacation Grocery Delivery many times and they have been great.
