Ordering AG dolls online

Can anyone tell me what in kind of box American Girl dolls are shipped? Is "American Girl" printed all over the side, like Amazon.com boxes? Or is it a more discreet name on the small address label? I'm just wondering if I should have my order sent to my mom's house, so my nosy little princesses won't figure out what's inside. Thanks!

I'm not 100% positive, but I don't think it was very obvious what was in the box. I think it is just a brown box with the AG return address on it.

Doesn't say American Girl anywhere on the shipping box. Plain brown box with just street address, Middleton, WI on the label. (Only in trouble if your daughter knows what company is in Middleton.

I've got a box from a few years ago, it's a plain brown box with a UPS sticker on it. The return address has street and city only. I'd call and speak with a CS rep, but I'm willing to bet they still ship discretely. Even if you plan on ordering online later, I'm sure the'll talk to you, they've always been helpful with us.

It is a plain brown box w/ a ups label on it but be very careful when samantha arrived for xmas we were away so when we got home she was at the door waiting and I had to make sure the label was upside down so dd couldn't see it b/c it did have ag on it very small.

The box it ships in isn't marked from what I remember (but the one inside is, my dd keeps these for their BEDS) but it still depends on whether she knows what AG boxes are shaped like! I had my dd's sent to my IL's just recently so that they could bring it to WDW on our trip (we will be there on her bday) because I KNEW that if she saw the shape of the box she would know what was in it.

I Have a funny AG shipping story. Well it's funny now anyway. 2 Years ago I ordered a doll, outfits, brushes, video books, the whole she-bang. It was delivered in the brown box. The problem was that the UPS man put the box in front of our garage. My DH pulled out to go to the store, and he backed out right over my very large, very expensive, hard to find AG order. He didn't know what he hit, so he pulled back in. Needless to say he ran over it 2X!!!!! I really panicked. I called AG fully expecting to have to pay for a whole new shipment, but the AG store told me to ship the whole smushed package back unopened. I mean there was doll hair, plastic sticking out, wrapping paper everywhere. The AG rep assured me that they would ship out a new order that day, and just wait for my package (smushed) to arrive to them. If I didn't send it they would then charge me for the second order. I had the replacement order in 3 days, with everything gift wrapped at no charge. They were wonderful. The UPS man, not so much!!
