Ordering a cake at a resort

Has anyone ordered a cake from Artist's Palette in SSR for a birthday? On there menu from allearsnet it says whole pies and cakes available. Just wondering if anyone had one and do they deliver to the room or is it something you must pick up yourself?

No-We've done it from the Grand Floridian and Boardwalk bakeries with good results.

I haven't ordered from them, but I would think you could call them directly and ask if that service is available. From what I saw of Artist's Palette though, it looked like a quick service "grab and go" kind of place, so I don't know if they would have the ability to really customize anything. I would call to make sure though. The GF and Boardwalk bakeries only deliver to GF and Boardwalk restaurants, but they will box cakes for pickup for you.
