Good day!

I am planning a birthday dinner for my DS who will be five. We are eating at The 50s Primetime Cafe ( DS is getting a birthday breakfast at Chef Mickey's, I thought it would be fun to do something fun for the adults.) How do I order a birthday cake? Do I call the restaurant directly? Thanks for the help.

I will be doing the same thing next week for my brother! We are going to Whispering Canyon....the Disney Dining castmember I spoke to said to call the restaurant about three days ahead of time and ask them to do a birthday cake.

We had a 30th B-Day for my friend at The Land in Epcot a few years ago (2002 I think) & they supplied the cake plus a card signed by the characters. They also made her stand up so everyone could sing ... Mickey stood with her with his arm around her. She was a little embarassed but hey .. you only turn 30 at Disney once right?

On my dad's birthday we ordered a cake from the boardwalk bakery. It was the best cake I have ever eaten. We ate the whole thing in no time. It was awesome. I don't know if you could order it from there and then get it delivered to your dinner or not. They delivered it to our dinner but we ate at the Flying Fish down the way from the bakery. They do have the best cakes through.

A couple of years ago we order a cake from the Boardwalk Bakery. I called a few weeks prior and talked to the baker. We had a lot of options to choose from.

We had planned to meet family at B&C and pick up the cake for dessert. A nice waiter offered to walk over and pick it up. I have to agree with the above poster -- it was the BEST cake I've ever tasted.

this is the phone number a CM gave me to order a cake. 1-407-938-4720. you will need to order 48 hours in advance! hope this helps! and happy birthday to your son!!

Thanks to all of you for your advice-now I have one less thing to think about!

Having a B-Day and Anniversary dinner at Ohana's next month, we got a cake once before for DFiance's B-Day (when they forgot it, I told manager and he brought out a cake), so I'm wondering is there a charge for the cake and if so how much, etc.

We stayed at the Contemporary last March & celebrated hubby's birthday while at WDW. On our first night there, I snuck down to the lobby (was getting our mugs refilled ;) ) & called the room service #. They were able to take my order for a bday cake & the next night it was waiting for us in our room after a day at the MK. It came complete with plates, silverware, a knife for cutting the cake, candles & matches. It was a great set-up & he was totally surprised.

Many of the character meals will also bring out a cupcake & a card signed by all of the characters. I had a blast celebrating my 25th bday with Tigger at the Crystal Palace. :)

We ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday at LTT. It seems it was around $10.00 or so.

I've heard alot about the Boardwalk Cakes. We will be there in October to celebrate by DS and DD birthdays. What does the cake look like and how much are they? I know the cakes through the hotels are $12.50. We just need a small cake since we will be eating big meals just before.

bump

I would like to know how to get one delivered to the Poly for my daughter.
