Less than l0 minute wait on hold mid aft today, and my confirmation email came within 2 minutes of hanging up.

DD starts her Orlando vacation Saturday. I asked the cast member if he could email the confirmation today, he was so nice about it.

DD can use the discount at the Castle for her birthday lunch and Pop Food Court for starters.

I wonder what's the deal there? They refused to email me a fresh confirmation letter (the date on the first one expired before my trip begins!) and have told others the same. In any case now they say I'll get a temporary card in the post before I leave. Fingers crossed! I have 5 weeks left. Its been 7 weeks since my order.

Be sure to check the confirmation letter and make sure the dates are correct. Hope your DD has a wonderful vacation

I am surprised on the e-mail confirmation too!
That's Disney -- consistently inconsistent.

But I agree the team at DDE has always gone above and beyond. They deserve a big hand!

Will your DD be using your card? It was my understanding that you could only get two cards and that the second needed to be for a spouse. I'm curious since my Mom may possibly be making a trip without us and will send my card with her if possible. (Just ordered it the other day and by the sounds of things....I will not have it before our June 19th trip!)

Oh my goodness! You're right. My fault for dragging it back up front. I came upon it whilst reading a newer post about DDE - it was in the 'Similar Threads' bit at the bottom of the page. I just assumed it was new too and never checked the date.

And now I've dragged it upfront again! lol

Anybody know how long it takes to get the cards? I got my e-mail back in March and still no card.

It was just over 8 weeks for me. I read one post where it took 11 weeks.
I would say minimum or 8. Possible to go as long as 11, but not likely.

I ordered mine last Thur and will be leaving this Sun. I told the CM that and they said not to worry, I could have picked up a Temp. Card at the GS outside of Ecopt as of 5 pm that day. So I guess/hope I don't need an email... if so to bad, 'cause I did not ask for one.
