Order MB with AP con#?

I purchased APs for dh and me. I linked them to my MDE. It's listed under tickets and I confirmed that I an make FP ressies one month out, but when I go to customize and ship a magic band, it doesn't let me.
Does it just take some time to get through the system, or will I have to wait till after my trip, when I have the actual pass in hand to order a MB?

The option to order and customize is not available until after the annual passes are activated. You will not be able to have and use them for your first trip. But your RFID AP will do everything the MB will do. If you want to purchase another set you can for $12.95 plus tax each.

Interesting - thanks for the info! I actually have MB's - but I had to get rid of my husbands. I had more than one of him on my MDE - one had the resort reservation and the other had the MB (from our current AP). They tried to switch the MB to the account with the resort, but couldn't - so they deleted it completely from the system. So, I will be getting a MB for him when we're two months out from our trip, I assume I'll be able to make FP's for him at the 2 month window even though I don't have an actual MB for him yet, being that he will have a resort reservation and an AP linked in the system....

Did you renew your current annual passes? Or did you purchase new annual passes?

When I renewed my current pass I was able to customize the band right away. You just need to go into MDE on the computer and confirm your shipping address under magic bands and then you can customize them.

I didn't renew. I'm not going until mid August and I got the special discounted DVC Premium AP. Renewing would have actually cost more and would have made the start date May 1.
