order food from outside restaurants?

Has anyone ever ordered food from outside restaurants, pizza places, etc and had it delivered to their hotel on-site? We can't afford to eat at one of the on-site places each night so thought we could maybe order food.

Will they deliver it right to your room? Also, what did you order and from where?
