Is there a disadvantage to buying the 5 days for 3 days park hoppers from Orbitz? They seem to be the cheapest price I can find yet I don't hear people on this board buying them. Why UT over Orbitz? TIA

We bought from Orbitz last year. We did not have any problems at all with them. It did take about 10 days to get my magic number, but once we had that they linked immediately.

I notice that the "5 days for the price of 3" Orbitz tickets say "Must book by March 31, 2015 and travel by August 30, 2015."

I'm not sure why they say that, but I know that UT tickets do not expire until they are finally used.

I was curious about that as well. Does anybody have any experience linking their Orbitz tickets to MDE and they did not expire after the travel by date?

I bought them about 40 days ago and didn't have any trouble once they processed through the system.

i did notice on orbitz website that they say purchased vouchers are only valid during selected days
they must have some odd deal

it's only risky if your planned dates aren't on their site- and they are vouchers, not tickets. And if your plans change, then what? Tha's why they're less popular.... at UT, you buy real tickets, and use them when you need them. (my trip last year got postponed 5 months, I would have been ool with Orbitz, so glad I went UT instead) UT was also great for helping when Disney and MDE screwed up our tickets royally and we couldn't enter the park...they actually answered the phone, and then called the CM immediately to straighten the (disney website) problem out. (at the front gate) Since I no longer trust that disney website system to keep things right, I will be careful how I personally buy tickets.
Others here seem to have done it with no issue.
