Orbitz running 48 hour discount - no $150 cap

Just a heads up. Orbitz is apparently running another sale with code 48HRSALE. This code is NOT capped at $150! It looks to be ~15% off. This of course is stacking with the public Disney Fall discounts, hard to beat. Just booked 5 nights tower BL view at CR with 6 day hoppers for $2803 all in.

I tried to extend our October stay by one night with Disney but had ZERO luck....have been trying for two weeks now. Decided to do a split stay so I tried the above Orbitz code yesterday but it wouldn't go thru as it said there was a 2 night minimum. Went back on again today, and this time, not only did it go thru for the one night I needed but it also took an additional $10 off for joining their rewards program plus I got some bucks back into the account. 15% off with the fall promo, plus the extra 15% Orbitz discount with an additional $10 off = pretty good rate . Seeing how weak the fall promo is I'm not convinced the A/P rate, when it comes out, will be any better than I got, so I booked thru Orbitz!!

I think I'm going to do this for my Mom's reservation. She's got a room only discount booked but the extra savings on top of that is DEF hard to beat, I agree. Once you booked with Orbitz, how difficult was it to get the information you needed to link it up to MDE? Any advice/insight appreciated!

It is pretty straight forward, just make sure to use the Disney confirmation and not the Orbitz. Do a search, there are a few recent threads that talk about the steps to take. I'd link them but I'm on mobile. Also, if you have children in your party just book it with the adults and call to add the kids. That is the biggest take away I got from it. Aside from that, it links almost immediately. Double check the mailing address on the magic bands in your MDE page. It defaults to Orbitz address in Chicago, easy change though.

There's another code for 15% off that ends tonight. YESPLEASE. I booked POFQ for November and, counting the $10.00 off for joining their rewards program, I saved $170.00.
