Orbitz for car rental?

I've never booked with Orbitz but I'm getting a pretty good rate on a car rental through them. Without reading all the fine, fine print, is Orbitz a place where I can easily cancel or modify a car rental reservation if I need to (without penalty)? Thanks!

I found Orbitz good for comparing rates, but usually the car rental company web site has the same or lower rate as Orbitz.

What are your dates and what price are you getting?

My issue with Orbitz (or Travelocity for that matter) has not been with car rentals, but more with hotel ressies. Orbitz booked my car rental without a problem but the savings were not appreciably better than if I booked it with the car rental company.

Be careful with the hotel ressies though as I have had issues where I showed up at the hotel and found the only room available was a smoking room even though I requested a non-smoking room. Orbitz does not guarantee one or the other.
