I've never used a third party for any travel component, but Orbitz offers a great deal for a weekend car rental for use while we are at WDW (p/u at CCC). So, I'm considering it.
Do I face potential problems? Direct rental through National is about 40% higher cost. Orbitz doesn't require pre-payment it just says pay when you get there (or whatever the phrasing). This makes me very nervous about National honoring the price with only a computer print out. (I don't understand how they can do rentals like this -- wouldn't people make reservations then not keep them? Their is nothing obligating them. I didn't go through full check out process, maybe something there.)
Is this a safe way to go or will I end up paying full price at pick up?
TIA for any advice
