Oral contraceptive users...??? for you

Oral Contraceptives huh?? They didn't make me b%$^%* until I realized I was PREGNANT with DS...LOL Guess it was truely meant to be...

Those who get pregnant "on the pill" are usually making mistakes like forgetting a day, not taking them at the same time of day every day, or taking a concurrent medicine that decreases the effectiveness of the Pill.

There is a slim, very slim chance of getting pg on the Pill even though you do everything right, but since its so slim, I question anyone who claims they got "pg on the Pill"!

I called the drs office this morning. The dr said it could be the generic. He wants me to keep taking them, he said my body may adjust to the hormones. I didn't take it this morning and I'm in a much better frame of mind. I'm not sure what to do...maybe I'll call the pharmacist.....

I think that's just psychological. It would take longer than a day for the hormones to leave your system.

Make sure that you have your dr give you samples. He or she gets them FREE from the drug companies. There is no reason that you should pay each time you switch pills, especially if you need to switch a couple of times until you find the right one.

Question away but I did everything right. Apprently there is something in the Ortho Novum brand that my body couldn't tolerate or whatever...same thing happened to mom and sister.

I'm old enough that the reverse is true. You don't want to be around me when I'm off hormones!
