Slowly but surely I am been convinced to try out in direct flying to MCO.

Can you guys help me out with a few questions please?

Firstly we are Yorkshire folk and therefore always, always fly out of Manchester. Therefore who flies out of Manchester for indirect flying:confused3

Secondly, when searching the airlines do I simply input MAN to MCO and my dates and the computer does the work for me ie choosing connecting flights etc ...

Thirdly, are the airlines the same as VA were the flights are made available 11 months out and you pay in full at the time of booking?

and finally, sorry guys, I've heard people mention on the boards something about Codesharing to get your Virgin Miles:confused3, can someone please let me know what this option is please?

Many thanks to you all :thumbsup2

I can't help with which airlines fly out of Manchester, but I can tell you that you are right about how to search for them. Just put in MAN to MCO on something like Expedia or Kayak and everything will be worked out for you. Sometimes some of the sites are a little optimistic about how long it might take to clear customs at your stopover destination, so before booking be sure that they have left about two hours between the two flights just to be sure (some airports you can get away with slightly less than this).

All airlines release their flights 330 days before, so as soon as you get to 11 months before your return date, you are good to start searching! And yes, you will have to pay the whole cost of the flights there and then I'm afraid...

Websites like Expedia, Kayak, etc usually have options for you to select on how many stops. I tick 0 and 1 as this will bring up both direct and indirect flights. You can tick them all and see what comes up, but 2 or more stops often makes little difference to the price and you could end up with travel time exceeding 24 hours! :scared1:

We always fly US Airways from MAN to MCO via Philadelphia and have booked our flights with them again for next Easter.

We generally book direct with the airline through their own website.

More than happy to answer any questions you might have about flying indirect or about US Airways from Manchester.
