DH's coworker asked him to ask me this and since I never have any desire to go offsite, I dont have an answer.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort and want to go to Universal or Sea World, what are the transportation options? Can you hire Tiffany Town Car and the like or would a taxi be a better choice? Any other options?

I know mears does. I guess it would be wise to price out a few options. Mears, sigh, does multiple pick ups to fill the van so if it is only 1 person it would be a waste of time, but you would have to consider price. If there are several people you can look also at the option of renting a car on site by the mk car care center (free courtesy van pick up and drop off at disney resort or they also have a counter at the swan/dolphin. DH has used both. This is what we did twice when dh had to go off site and then we went to sea world/universal.

Depending on the resort, a limo can be arranged for you. I can't remember what the charge is?

Here's a link to Tiffany Towncar they have rates posted for one-way and roundtrip between Disney Resorts and USF/IOA. Looks kind of pricey to me, especially when you factor in the tips. It might be less expensive to rent a car for the day.

Hi,

This is why I always rent a car at the airport so we can have flexibility to go to non-disney parks, stores, Celebration to eat, shopping at downtown disney, not just transportation to our hotel.

Another consideration.
