United sent us a text that there is a big storm coming on a travel day, which is Sunday. They gave us the option to switch flights without any fees and I’m just wondering how late we have to do that without being charged, because the text didn’t say?

do not know amount of time but it would be the earlier the better as there will probably less seats than people wanting them. later you wait it could end up waiting a couple of days to fly

There's no time limit, aside from whenever it is your flight leaves. But don't wait. The longer you wait the fewer options you'll be left with. Everyone else will change and take the seats. You wait and you could be left with nothing to change to
