I am getting confused about which resorts have capacity for 5+1. We have 3 kids and might have another before our next trip. Can we stay in any room that is capacity of 5 with 5 plus a newborn?

Thanks!

Yes, the newborn will not be counted towards occupancy. You can look at places that sleep 5.

Remembering back to our POR room with two double beds, I can't imagine squeezing in two other people (one on the Murphy bed and an infant). That's going to be pretty tight!!!!

I know. We will probably get a suite or stay deluxe with (hopefully) a daybed. But just making sure that all the rooms that sleep 5 will really sleep 5+1.

Also, our kids are young and prefer to sleep in one full bed together rather than their individual beds at home. So it is actually possible for us to have 2beds and a pnp. We have stayed in a room at csr that felt big enough, and one at por that felt tiny.

You must have been lucky--I thought our CSR room was about the same size as one of our POR rooms.

I will say the Poly rooms would definitely be big enough, along with CR. Have fun when you go!

Yes, you can. But, keep in mind that the Disney web site is glitchy and it will sometimes tell you that you exceed capacity for a five-person room, even though the infant should not count against room occupancy. If you run into that problem then you would need to call to book the room. Seems to be a pretty common glitch that people are having. :rolleyes2

Yes I think the issue at por was that it seemed dark. Plus the beds were so small! Csr has bigger beds and was lighter feeling.

Thanks for the reminder on the website, I will book with the 5 and just call and add the not yet conceived baby when the time comes lol.

Is it bad that our discussions about a fourth child venture into how it will affect our wdw trips? Laughing at ourselves over here.
