Options for decreasing days for UT hopper ticket

I have tried searching the answer to my question. We have been changing plans as right now my in-law will not be joining us for our November trip. We purchased 8 day PH for them from UT - now they will be used in April but likely not for PH and only for 6 days. Anyone make this type of change in 3rd party tickets? Can i change and get a refund? would it be through UT or can WDW handle this?

I can't answer all your questions, but you will have to contact UT about the tickets, not Disney. Only they will be able to tell you if changes can be made.

Call UT first, and they will advise you.

I bought one 6-day ticket for November from UT and linked it to my son's MDE. When we moved our trip to December, I called UT to see if they could change the ticket dates. They were unable to alter the ticket because it was already linked to MDE. UT emailed me instructions to change the ticket dates online, but when I couldn't get that to work, I called Disney - who made the changes. Since our December dates cost less than the November dates, we changed from a 6-day to a 7-day ticket at no extra charge.
