I read that section B, row 1 is the best for Soarin. What are some other "best seats" on other rides

Thanks!

That's a matter of opinion frequently.

Front row of POTC - best view - but a good chance you'll get wet.

Last row of BTMRR - extra whiplash - that's also a bad thing.

I prefer front, middle seat on TT - but others don't like to be the one in the middle.

Etc.

For Space Mountain, I personally way prefer the first row...however, others cannot stand it as you can kind of see the track and that makes things terrifying.

The last row of 7DMT seems slightly more intense than the front of the train.

The front row of FEA is better for pictures with small kids. And the front rows of any of the boat rides are better for not having to watch other people videoing with their phones.

The whole left side of space mountain seems more rough.

I always prefer the forward-facing position on the PeopleMover.

DW is like that too, she hates going backward. Even on the monorail, she wants to face forward.

I agree with a PP, beyond Soarin' where it actually makes a difference in the video quality, the rest is subjective. EE, RnR, ToT, BTMRR, 7DMT, etc...all a matter of personal taste. For most rides, I actually don't care all that much. But for RnR, I love the back row. I think it's super cool to watch the rest of the train corkscrew in front of you before you go over. For Splash, I always get stuck on the right side...after the big drop, you come to a stop where there is a waterfall on your right and it sprays you. DW makes me sit there.

I'm don't really ave preferred seats on most rides. I just go with whatever I am assigned. It is good to be in the center of Soarin' but that depends too. If you are all the way at the edge of the center section, it is not that much different than being all the way to the inside of one of the outer rows. So really, it's not even a matter of getting B1, but getting B1 position 5 or 6. Honsetly, though I don't see a big difference until you get to the outside edges. The hight doesn't really matter that much, but it is more fun to be suspended higher in the air I think.

Quick tip for Star Tours - sometimes I notice I feel a little queasy after a ride on Star Tours. I realized it depends on my seating location. If you are in the front or back rows, or further our the the sides you will experience more movement than if you are in the center because that is where the axis of movement is. If you are in one of the extreme corners, the ride will have the most movement. Being in the center has less propensity to make me feel sick, though I have yet to make a seating request over it.

The back is better for Philharmagic in our opinion, because the screens are so large.

I prefer the back on BTRM, middle-back is fine but can’t tolerate the front. We were given a front row seat for the first time in many years and found it to be considerably bumpier than the back half. It left me with a huge headache. We ended up wasting a hard to get fp on our next visit as we were given the front and not allowed to wait for the next train to get a seat in the second half. When it was our time to board, we crossed over and the people behind us got on, which left an empty queue for that row for the next train.

Definitely prefer forward-facing on Peoplemover and monorail.
Prefer the back on BTMRR, and also prefer to ride in the dark.
7DMT prefer back, but also enjoy the front, riding in the dark is the best.
Prefer front row on TT.
Prefer front row on Space as then I can see the track and anticipate what's coming.

I thought the left side of Safari had a lot more animals. Some can move around, but most were stuck on the left. Pair that with the back row recommendation.

BTMRR - No question the back row is the best. Faster drop on the big mountain and at least feels more intense on the turns and bumps.

Space Mt. - Either the very front or the very back. There really isn't a bad seat on this ride since they all seem to throw you around the same. The front is nice since you can't see anyone in front of you. The back is maybe the roughest seat.

RnR - No real preference on this one since it starts fast from the beginning.

Exp Everest - Always prefer the back. Like BTMRR it feels to be the roughest seat, and I enjoy being the last one out of the tunnel on the big drop for the speed.

7DMT - There seems to be a trend. The back seat again gives you a little better experience in my opinion if you're looking for top speed going down the hills. It may not be true, but it at least feels that way.

Test Track - No real preference, but the right side is fun since you sit higher on the banks at the end.

Splash Mtn. - By default I end up on the right side, and usually the front so I get soaked. My DW wouldn't have it any other way.

Dinosaur - Right side for photo op shenanigans

ToT - No real preference, but like the seats in the center so I can see more of the exterior when the doors open

People Mover - Any seat is a good seat
