Which would you do for a special day, just you and your 5 year old daughter:

1. BBB in the castle and then breakfast with Cindy and the other princesses.
Note: I have an ADR for this since I could book it at 180 days, but have to wait to make the BBB reservation because of the new system that Disney is putting in place. My only concern here is that I might not be able to get one of the 8:00 sessions at BBB that would make our 10:00 CRT breakfast possible. Once the new reservation system is in place it will probably be too late to change our CRT reservation if we needed to.

2. BBB at DTD and then dinner with Cindy and her "family"

This might be easier to arrange because the booking window for both should open at the same time.

A little background to help you decide ...

Last year my daughter and I went to BBB at DTD and then met the family at the GF for dinner with Cinderella. It was while 1900 was being refurbished, though, so we ate at GF Cafe and the characters were Cindy & Prince, Fairy Godmother and the mice. If we do this for our next visit it will be with a different group of characters and at a different restaurant.

It will just be the two of us for this adventure, my hubby has graciously offered to stay with the boys and do some "manly" things while we have our few hours of "girl" time.

Thanks for your thoughts!

of MK BBB and then CRT. It's on our agenda for the next trip for our daughter.

I keep thinking the two hours you're planning for between the two has some slack in it. I know that as the day goes on the boutique can get backed up, but you would still be looking at one of the early slots. I understand the middle package is 45-60 minutes and the top package is around 75 minutes. An 8:20 should work for the top package and an 8:40 for something a little less.

another option is to dress up and go to tea at the GF. It is a great 'girly' thing to do :)

I have had dinner at CRT and did not like it: found the character interaction minimal after trying for years for the ressie....That said, I hear the breakfast is great. The BBB in Magic Kingdom, though I was cynical, was a wonderful experience for my DD9!...I think if you could get that early ressie and do the breakfast...that would really be special! Do ask yourself, if you are doing the whole gown thing, if that would be more comfortable to wear in the evening (less hours)?

Also take into consideration water interaction: ie. pools and water parks....We avoided both for days after my DDs hair was coiffed.

Tea at Grand Floridian has always sounded like a lovely retreat to me!
Perhaps the BBB and tea?

I've done Disney with my DD alone, and honestly, having you to herself on vacation will thrill your DD!...Maybe you can structure some ressies, and a day or two before them you can tell your DD you two will spend some girl time alone, and tell her the options....Letting her call the tune might be a good way to go: she may suprise you, and you can cancel ressies if need be!

Sometimes our ideas of what our children would want are off by a bit...she may opt to swim and then snuggle while drinking hot chocolate. They are wonderous creatures!...Enjoy!:flower3:

Breakfast and lunch are the only meals with character interaction.

Dinner just has the Fairy Godmother, Suzy, and Perla. They do a small show, but they do not visit with the guests.

Definitley #1- we are doing this for the second time on our trip- DD loved it so much last time... but this time adding in the BBB before our breakfast. Have fun!!!
