We've stayed at the Homewood Suites, though it was about 7 years ago.

The room was very nice, reasonable size and nice layout. Breakfast buffet was excellent, probably one of the nicest around. Pool was on the small side as I recall but it was winter so we didn't use it anyway. One complaint is that the hotel is right next to I-4 and all nite long we could hear road noise in our room.

For the money, I'd recommend renting a condo or pool home somewhere like Winsor Palms or Wyndham Palms or similar. You get much more space and generally better furnishings and amenities. No free breakfast, but overall a nicer experience.
