I just finished making ADR's for our upcoming trip in November during Thanksgiving. We will be on the DxDP for 4 nights. We've never done the DxDP so we're pretty excited. We're trying out a bunch of places that are new to us. All adults in the travel party and enjoy TS over CS. Any opinions are welcome as well as suggestions, pictures, etc. Thank you in advance
Wednesday, arrival day, no park
7:00 dinner at Yachtsmen Steakhouse
-New to everyone in the part except myself looking forward to going back.
Thursday, Epcot
9:45 breakfast at Akershus
-None of us have eaten here and we do enjoy a character meal now and then.
5:55 dinner at Le Cellier
-Another new one to us. But when we decided to do the DxDP instead of our normal DDP I knew this had to be on our list.
Friday, Magic Kingdom
1:25 lunch at The Plaza
-Another new one to everyone in the party but myself.
8:45 dinner at Narcoossee's
-Yes, another new one to everyone! It was a toss up between this and California Grill after much debate we chose this because of the lobster. Also it's so late because we hope to see the fireworks from here. I hear they pipe in the music for Wishes is that true?
Saturday, Hollywood Studios
2:10 Tea at the Grand Floridian
:
-Always a must do on our trips. I realize we probably should do this on MK day but even if we did a breakfast, tea and then dinner it is far too much food for us. So we plan to head to HS that morning, get fp's for TSM ride a few rides, go to tea and then return to finish up our night
7:50 Hollywood Brown Derby
-We've eaten here many many years ago (think early 90's). My only concern is the park as of now is to close at 8pm that night, yet our ADR is clearly pretty close to that, should I change it for an earlier time or even to somewhere else outside of the park? I really want to make sure to see the lights. We are not fans of the other places except 50's PTC at the studios. My concerns are being rushed through the meal and getting back to the hotel after dinner we will be staying on property.
Sunday, heading home
11:15 am at Cape May Cafe
-Normally we do dinner here but this year we're switching it up to breakfast. I know there's characters but we really wanted a breakfast buffet without going to a park.
