here's the question (s)

we are booked on a land/sea with a 3 day post stay. I am considering seperating the package so that when the discounts come out I can make use of the savings on the room portion. My first question is since we can't decide between the CBR and PO should we stay at one pre and the other post cruise?

The second part of that is - is there a hotel and hopper pass for 3 days? I have tickets left over from our stay last year but not enough for the whole trip.

Forgot to mention my DD's are 8 & 6 and we are in our early 30's. We have cruised before (not with Disney).

I can't wait to hear your suggestions!
thanks for your help,
Jon

Do NOT, I repeat Do Not book your extra days through the cruise line!!!

If you have any problems, changes etc with your reservation, they cannot help you at the hotel. We had a problem last Sept. and needed to cancel one room at the Poly. The hotel would have gladly canceled the room and refunded us the difference. Unfortunately, we had booked through the cruise line and the hotel concierge staff could not refund us.

DCL did send us a voucher for a future cruise for about what we should have been refunded but that's not the same as your money back.

Of course the good news is we had a great time otherwise and are making use of the voucher on a 7 day 9/21/02 :Pinkbounc

Good luck!

Hi Jon,

There is no 3 Day Hopper Pass but you can get Ultimate Park Hoppers (length of stay passes) for that amount of time. If you think you will ever be going back to WDW and if you don't want the water park, Pleasure Island or DisneyQuest admissions included in the UPHs, then just get another 4 Day Park Hopper and use the rest when you return the next time. Unused days never expire.

Sure, try both moderate resorts, why not? :)

Also, keep in mind that if you split up the land/sea package you will lose the ability to have the "seamless" check-in where you check in at the resort for both the resort and ship portion. It's not that big a deal but you should be aware of that. You will have to check in at the port as well.

Hope that helps! :)
