We have been to WDW many times and stayed in many resorts. Our home resort is the BCV but we have stayed at the BC/YC the most. So we want to change things up a bit and stay at the WLV.
I think we would enjoy being close to and taking the boat to the MK, renting boats on the lake, going to the Contempory to ride the monorail, the beautiful lobby. etc.
I know the bus service is off/on good/bad. but I really think it would be fun there.

I would love to hear any tidbits, advice, or ?? on your stays. Good and Bad, ok?

thanks !!!!:chat:

Just my opinion, but I feel the whole transportation stuff is overblown. I think all resorts are capable of having good and bad transportation days (with the possible exception of Poly, GF, and CR due to the mono and their boat system).

Again, in my opinion, the real thrill of VWL/WL is the theme, and theming. There are some here that don't care for the theme, but still respect the outstanding theming (does that make sense?).

No matter how many times I see the place, it never ceases to amaze me!

We own at BCV, but we really enjoy VWL. We stayed there in March and will be there again TOMORROW!

My only "complaint" about it (and it's really not a complaint) is the interior decor is not my style, but I do enjoy the overall resort. I love the lobby and I love that it is near the MK !

I loved my VWL stay especially as a solo travelers. It had a wonderful serenity to it that can't be found elsewhere on site.

My DD teases me because I told her that is the Mommy only resort, I will bring her there but not stay there with her. It is my personal retreat!

I'm sure you'll love it. The boat was also really conv. especially after e-night.

We used to live in Montana and went to Yellowstone many times. We stayed at the Old Faithful Inn a few times as well.

When Disney built VWL, I just had to have points there to remind me of the times at Yellowstone.

Looking forward to 11 nights there beginning Jan 1.
