We have reservations for Wine Bar George, Sanaa and Citricos for our upcoming trip next month and I'm looking for recent reviews and what you liked when visiting. Photos are a bonus, as are recommendations for an entree at Sanaa you're recommend to someone new to that kind of cuisine.

I did Citricos in January 2023 with my husband and November 2022 with my parents and younger brother.

My husband ordered the smoke duck and tilefish. He said both were fantastic but especially the duck. We work in NYC and he said the prices were lower than he expected for the quality. I got the chicken and it was fantastic. Honestly better than the chicken I got at Victoria & Alberts. We did the apple rose & it was good but sruprisingly the coconut milk ice cream was fantastic- we couldn't tell there was no dairy. We got the mac & cheese and my husband who loves truffle was kind of meh about it. I think next time we'll get the potatoes.

I went with my family in November-- we typically do Narcoosee's but since they were closed went here. The food was still good, but my brother did have to send back a steak for being over cooked. The pork belly was good, but I wasn't as impressed with it so didn't order in January.

Wine Bar George is a staple for us- my mom snuck away while we were shopping at Disney Springs for a glass of wine! She always goes with whatever they recommend. For food, we were really impressed with the saganaki on fire, mac and cheese bites (clearly I like cheese), and their salads are always good. They used to have a grilled romaine one, but I don't see it on their menu any longer. The brunch is good too- their biscuits are fantastic and the candied bacon on the burrata is amazing.

We haven't been to Sanaa for years but the bread service is always highly recommended.

I’m so excited to go to Citricos - the food sounds yummy, it’s in the GF, and I can visit MK at night. That’s going to be a wonderful last night. Thanks for sharing! I do hope Narcoosee’s reopens soon as I’d love to try that

Loved Citricos. Tried for the first time, as our favorite Narcooses was closed. Really liked our filet's, will return next trip.
Will never go back to Wine Bar. Way, way over priced for us. We got two app's and two glasses of wine, for $100. Walked out starving. Never again, don't understand hype for 3 mac and cheese balls that cost a fortune.

I've never been to Citricos, so can't comment on that. However we love Wine Bar George and eat there almost every visit. They have the largest selection of wines by the glass that I've ever seen. We also really enjoy being able to order the 1 oz samples of the more unique (aka expensive) wines without having to commit to paying for a full glass. The food menu is limited, but everything we've ever had there has been really good and we've certainly never left hungry.

It's been a while since we have eaten at Sanaa, but I remember we really enjoyed it. I'd recommend booking a time when it will be daylight outside so that you can see the animals. The bread service is wonderful and as it has so many different dips, it can suit many different types of palates. I don't recall everything we had, but I remember the butter chicken being good and not that adventurous.

No recent photos but WBG is our favorite. Best food and service around all of WDW. Our favorite dishes-the steak fries, skirt steak and mozz cheese balls....all so so good.

We don't care for Sanaa but we only had the bread service and we were not really impressed. Maybe I was expecting more since so many people rave about it but it was nothing special. And maybe doing the bread only was a mistake and we missed out on other items. idk but I'd give it another try.

Haven't been to citricos since they remodeled but the menu looks amazing. Have fun.

I've not been to WBG for dinner but the steak frites at lunch is one of the best meals I've ever had on property, and every wine flight I've ever had there has been different recs from my server, all amazing. It's my favorite restaurant. George himself is frequently there and I think it's why the quality is so consistently high. (He's also super nice!)

My wife and I were at wine bar george this past weekend for the first time and loved it. We didn’t order much - one bottle of wine and a few small plates but everything was super tasty and the atmosphere and service are great. It has a kind of trendy vibe but also manages to feel cozy and warm. Everyone is laid back and friendly including George himself who brought out some of our food and chatted for a bit.

We can’t wait to go back and maybe try the big charcuterie board.

At WBG we love the Grilled Whole Sea Bass (if you aren’t solo dining, it’s a sharing dish for 2-4 people). They bring it to the table whole and debone it for you (and will take away the head so it won’t bother anyone 🤣) Once it was dry but we’ve had it multiple times and it’s been absolutely delicious! It takes a little extra time to cook so beware, but that’s great if you also want some apps or even if you just want to enjoy a glass of wine before your meal.

Ooh, that yummy ! I can vouch for the Ganachery - I brought home a box of 16 chocolates in November, and they were all delicious. It’s a must stop for me now in May and every future trip. Thanks for sharing!

The food at Wine Bar George is fabulous. Pretty much anything you get will taste good, and you can have the bartender pair wines for you or just try your own. I suggest the flaming cheese:

Also known as Saganaki on Fire.

Sanaa is good but maybe a little over-hyped in my opinion. I personally wouldn't make a trip over to AKL just to eat there, but if you're staying at the hotel it's a great resort restaurant to have. For someone non-adventurous, the bread service and butter chicken are as basic as you can get there.

We dined at Citricos in December, and the meal was delicious. The salad with the goat cheese and the bacon vinaigrette is wonderful. There is just a small amount of goat cheese, so even those who don't care for goat cheese would be okay ordering this delightful salad. The truffle mac and cheese dish is very different than traditional mac and cheese, but if you appreciate truffles, this dish is great! My family all ordered the Purple Penguin mocktail, and it was also tasty.

That’s great to know as I don’t love goat cheese, and the salad sounds yummy!!! Spiced sunflower seeds? Mmmmm

We like Sanaa. There is normally 6-8 in our party. We always get 2 orders the bread service. And then 2 orders of each of the Potjie Inspired and everyone tries some of everything. Sometimes we'll add something else to share but so far we have always at least gotten this. Same with deserts-order a couple of everything and share it. The service has always been outstanding and the food very good. Most of us are pretty adventurous eaters, so YMMV. Plus it gives you a chance to visit a very beautiful, unique resort.

Potjie Inspired: Choose one from the Journey - Goan Seafood Curry, Butter Chicken, Braised Beef, or Pork Vindaloo. Choose one from the Harvest (Plant-based) - Rajma Masala, Chickpea Wat, Sukuma Wiki, or Lentil Daal served with Scented Basmati Rice

Now I have to try Wine Bar George for the Wine and Chocolate Experience. Can you get that at the Basket or do you have to be in the dining room? Never been before. It's on the list...

We haven't been to Citricos or Sanaa recently but it is two of our favourites. At Wine Bar George (just a couple of weeks ago), the flaming saganaki, hummus (they put smoked paprika on the top which will forever change how I prepare mine now), the burrata was delicious, and the skirt steak (the chimichurri is particularly good). Also any of the charcuterie boards. I was very tempted by the roasted vidalia onion, meatballs, pork belly, and BLT but I had only so much time and so much room in my stomach. Next time!
