I am thinking of making and ADR for Planet Hollywood.
Our party would be: DS2, DD5, DS9 and 6 adults-from 18 to 50.
Would this be a good choice for a family from 2 to 50 years of age?!
How is the food? The atmosphere? Lunch or dinner?
Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated! :cool1:

we have done planet hollywood everytime we are WDW. DS loves it and DD is now in a good age. I recommend doing lunch - for some reason not as loud - at least to me. I have done dinner there and had to yell to be heard...food has usually been good. Never GREAT but still a nice place to go for the four of us.

Now, this year we are taking my parents (63 and 65-yo). we probably won;t take them

Thanks, Showe! How old are your children?

Having been there 2x this past year, ( May and Oct),, I found that my kids 9&12 loved the atmosphere,,, however, my hubby and I did not like the 3 hours that it took from the time we walked in the door till the time we left!
The food, was o.k.. nothing to brag about, I think it is along the lines of a "applebee's" style. If we HAD to go here again, I would either do a very early dinner at 4ish or a late lunch follwed by some shopping in DTD.

The food is fine, but it's just too loud for us. If you're really fond of Hollywood and movie stars, you may like it.

My dh and I went there on our last trip and I wasn't that impressed. It's a cool atmosphere but it really is like eating at a glorified applebees. Maybe try it out once to see if it's worth it to you. I would definitely go for lunch rather than dinner though! We made the mistake of going at dinner and waited an hour with a reservation!!!

We go every time we're in Orlando - for some reason I just love their burgers! :goodvibes . We will be taking my family in April, mostly because the kids are likely to really enjoy it, but also 'cause I need my PH burger fix..!

My family loves Planet Hollywood! We try to find one everywhere we go. We usually split the entrees because they are just too big. (Chicken & Broccoli Penne Pasta and California Lasagna are 2 of our must haves!) They are all usually very crowded so we try the late lunch/early dinner timing. Enjoy!
