Hi everyone! We are leaving in 2 weeks for 8 days at the Poly! We can't wait! It will be myself, husband and 5 year old little boy. Would you mind giving me your thoughts and feedback on our ADR's? Thank you so much!

Arrival day-- Dinner at Cape May Cafe
Day 1----Dinner at Ohana (MK day)
Day 2---Dinner at San Angel Inn (Epcot day)
Day 3--- BoG Lunch (MK day)
Day 4---Chef Mickey's lunch (pool day)
Day 5---Paradiso 37 dinner (HS day) I am not really sold on this one at DS?
Day 6---Boma dinner (AK day)
Day 7--- 1900 Park Fare Breakfast
Via Napoli dinner (Epcot day)
Day 8--check out morning

We are on the dining plan. Last trip we did Coral Reef, Homecomin, Tusker House.
Thanks again!

I have never been to Paradiso 37 or San Angel Inn, but everything else you picked looks great! Have fun!!

Here're our opinions:
Cape May Cafe (Hate it; never again, Golden Corral has better seafood!))
'Ohana (ok, but not a favorite; really hit or miss re: both food and service)
San Angel Inn (like the food, but hate the "on top of each other" seating)
Be Our Guest (food was ok, worth it to see the castle)
Chef Mickey's (won't set foot in)
Paradiso 37 (ok; my boyfriend is Latino so he likes the food and atmosphere)
Boma (LOVE it!; our favorite on your list)
1900 Park Fare (never been)
Via Napoli (never been; our go to on site Italian place is Il Mulino at the WDW Swan)

I think your plans look great! 'Ohana and Via Napoli are two of our favorites. There are plenty of other great options at DS if you're not sold on Paradiso 37. We loved the Boathouse. Our DD4 liked TRex, we found it crowded with only OK food. Many love Raglan Road and Homecoming. Enjoy the Poly!

I haven't heard great things about Paradiso 37; many do love RR (not us though!). Boathouse is great. My 11yo loved CMC dinner last Nov and BOG dinner is one of our favorite TS in the World-eaten there 6 or 7x :) While we do really like Via Napoli I have to agree with @L&Lfan that Il Mulino is absolutely the best Italian food on property, an easy walk from Epcot and both my boys love it. I also agree with him on San Angel Inn; nothing wrong with the food or extraordinary about it. I like the atmosphere but DH kept glaring at me b/c of the closeness of the tables lol.

Wow - you and your family are going to have a great trip!!

I would switch out Paradiso with TRex or Raglan Rd.
I agree, my kids love TRex (though both TRex and Raglan Rd can be a bit loud).

Also, we enjoyed Chef Mickey's for breakfast on the day we left (good breakfast and a happy way to meet the characters, leaving on a high note) - probably will not go back for dinner or on a park day; it was kind of chaotic and tiring when we did that... I have three kids so there was a lot of up and down at a buffet and didn't really enjoy the dinner food very much.

For me, that is a lot of buffets. I prefer to relax and have the food served rather than making a bunch of trips back and forth after running around in the parks for days. I also think you can find somewhere better at DS. Your son would probably love T-Rex-mine began his dinosaur obsession at about that age.

You have really great choices here! Chef Mickey's, 1900, Ohana, Boma, and Via Napoli are all awesome! Like others said above, I might recommend changing out Paradiso. Personally, my family loves House of Blues and Raglan Road, and also have heard good things about Morimoto, Boathouse, and Paddlefish.

Boathouse is excellent. We are trying Paddlefish on this year's trip (and returning to Boathouse again).

Okay, I'll chime in....

'Ohana - Okay but nothing close to spectacular. For us it was a one and done. I'm vegetarian, so I cannot comment on the meat. The other items were pedestrian (picture bagged lettuce and frozen veggie stir fry, both disguised with dressing/sauce) and overpriced.

San Angel Inn - Okay, although I think La Hacienda has better food and if you time it right and get a window seat, you can watch Illuminations.

BoG - Blech! If seeing the castle is important, I would order a cupcake, but not a meal. It struck me as highly overpriced and overhyped quick service (which to be fair, it is quick service). My quiche tasted like something reheated from the frozen aisle at Costco and the side of arugula was nothing special (probably came out of a bag).

Chef Mickey's - Search the thread titled "Be warned, it's true what they say about Chef Mickey's" (I'm not the author, though I concur)

Paradiso 37 - Never been there.

Boma dinner - Yummy! Worth the price. And they offer wine flights (additional cost)

1900 Park Fare breakfast - Never been, but I suspect the food is not as good as some of the other buffets on property. We also enjoy Boma breakfast (french toast bread pudding with praline sauce, grilled tomato and asparagus are some of the highlights for me) and I have heard nothing but good things about the breakfast buffet at The Wave.

Via Napoli - we prefer Tutto Italia, but do not order pizza, so YMMV.

They look great! Enjoy your trip! The Poly is my favorite resort. If you can squeeze in any more ADRs I highly recommend Kona and/or Ohana for breakfast. Also on your HS day, we love Hollywood and Vine. Its a buffet, but our kids always love dining with the characters. Minnie's Springtime Dine + Fantasmic Package? Or their breakfast with Disney Jr, characters if fun!
I love everything your doing already, so no real need to change anything!

The other items were pedestrian (picture bagged lettuce and frozen veggie stir fry, both disguised with dressing/sauce) and overpriced. I agree, and Im not a vegetarian! San Angel Inn - Okay, although I think La Hacienda has better food and if you time it right and get a window seat, you can watch Illuminations. My favorire Epcot restaurant!

My quiche tasted like something reheated from the frozen aisle at Costco and the side of arugula was nothing special (probably came out of a bag). Totally agree, but everyone should see the castle! Its amazing. Lunch is the best meal of all there.

Chef Mickey's - Search the thread titled "Be warned, it's true what they say about Chef Mickey's" (I'm not the author, though I concur) Disagree

Paradiso 37 - Never been there. Same

Boma dinner - Yummy! Worth the price. And they offer wine flights (additional cost) Agree

1900 Park Fare breakfast - Never been, but I suspect the food is not as good as some of the other buffets on property. Via Napoli - we prefer Tutto Italia, but do not order pizza, so YMMV. LOVE Via Napoli. Everything Ive had, pizza, pasta, etc... has been excellent

Everyone has different tastes!!

Thank you everyone for your help and your opinions! I am going to try and swap out Paradiso 37 for TRes for my little guy. He loves dinosaurs so this may be fun for him!

Arrival day-- Dinner at Cape May Cafe- This was just okay for us. We're seafood lovers and while there wasn't anything specific wrong with it, no one has ever asked to go back.
Day 1----Dinner at Ohana (MK day) Must do every trip for us
Day 2---Dinner at San Angel Inn (Epcot day) Our group of 12 had mixed feelings on this one. I liked it. It wasn't too die for authentic Mexican food, but it was good. The avocado margarita lived up to my expectations!!
Day 3--- BoG Lunch (MK day) We were all pleasantly surprised by this meal. We've eaten all three meals there and lunch is our favorite. The ham sandwich and beef sandwich were both really good. My kids ask to go to lunch every trip now.
Day 4---Chef Mickey's lunch (pool day) I've only done breakfast, but we do it for the characters and it's a must do every trip.
Day 5---Paradiso 37 dinner (HS day) I am not really sold on this one at DS? I've never been here, but Raglan Road is one of our favs!!
Day 6---Boma dinner (AK day) We're trying this for the first time this summer.
Day 7--- 1900 Park Fare Breakfast We enjoyed our breakfast here and my kids loved the character interactions.
Via Napoli dinner (Epcot day) All of us really enjoyed the pizza here. There were 9 of us and we ordered way too much pizza because we wanted to try different ones.
Day 8--check out morning

Personally, there is no way I would go from Poly all the way over to Cape May for dinner on arrival day. The food isn't great, it's a bit of a trek and there are some great restaurants in the MK area. Why not take a ride on the monorail and go to GF Cafe or the Wave? Or monorail to MK, then take a boat to Whispering Canyon or even Trail's End and visit the stables?

O'hana is fun! San Angel Inn doesn't have the best food, but the atmosphere is amazing. We like BOG lunch. Chef Mickey's food is pretty gross, but seeing the characters is fun. Personally, I would consider dropping Chef Mickey's, just hanging at the Poly that day and switching Boma to Tusker House on your AK day so you can see the characters. TH has much better food than Chef Mickey's and is pretty similar to Boma, IMHO. I would not do Paradiso 37 on your DHS day. I would either pick another restaurant in DS or have dinner on the Boardwalk (Trattoria al Forno is good) and hang around for the evening entertainment (jugglers, magicians, etc.). 1900 and Via Napoli are good!

My replies are in red. I've had Boma & Cape May but not for dinner...breakfast only. So i couldnt comment on those.

Arrival day-- Dinner at Cape May Cafe
Day 1----Dinner at Ohana (MK day) ------- not a fan of the food here. Slimy wings, dry meat, and our ADR was at 530pm!
Day 2---Dinner at San Angel Inn (Epcot day)
Day 3--- BoG Lunch (MK day)-----Good choice.
Day 4---Chef Mickey's lunch (pool day) -----Not a fan of the food. But hey, its the fab 5.
Day 5---Paradiso 37 dinner (HS day) I am not really sold on this one at DS? ----Raglan Road! Food and entertainment is awesome.
Day 6---Boma dinner (AK day)
Day 7--- 1900 Park Fare Breakfast ----pretty decent choice
Via Napoli dinner (Epcot day) -----my fave!!!
Day 8--check out morning

Arrival day-- Dinner at Cape May CafeGood choice
Day 1----Dinner at Ohana (MK day)Lots of food, go hungry, but its a tasty place for sure
Day 2---Dinner at San Angel Inn (Epcot day)Among our must eats, great choice
Day 3--- BoG Lunch (MK day)Atmosphere, out of this world, eats, not so much. Heard dinner is the better choice
Day 4---Chef Mickey's lunch (pool day)N/O only had breakfast here
Day 5---Paradiso 37 dinner (HS day) I am not really sold on this one at DS?We enjoyed our lunch here a few trips back, heard dinner crowd can be rowdy. Knowing that, and with all the great options at DS now, might would re-think this one
Day 6---Boma dinner (AK day)Like Ohana, go very hungry, but it is exploding with flavors
Day 7--- 1900 Park Fare BreakfastWe did this once and the food was just so so IMO
Via Napoli dinner (Epcot day)Piccante Pizza, count me in
Day 8--check out morning

We are on the dining plan. Last trip we did Coral Reef, Homecomin, Tusker House.
Thanks again!

I think instead of going to Disney Springs on your Hollywood Studios day to eat you should do a Fantasmic package that'll give you VIP seats to the Fantasmic show that night. I think your son would enjoy it

Thank you for the opinions! I really appreciate it!! I was concerned that we had several buffets, and I wasn't sold On Paradiso 37. So I was able to (very easily) swap out Cape May Cafe for The Wave. This means we will be going to the Contemporary 2x while we are there. But my son is obsessed with the monorail and wanted to stay at the Contemporary because it goes right through there. So I think this will be ok. Also swapped out Paradiso 37 with...... Raglan Road! Everyone seemed to be raving over it, so I want to try it!
