LOL, oddly enough my ideal flights on NWA are now down from $910 to a much more affordable $510 each!

The only other suggestion is to use cash and miles to drop the ticket price. If you check the offers section it usually gives you a code. For SAN in June the coupon dropped the ticket price almost $100. Good luck --I'm watching for flights from MSP after Easter 2005.

Alright, you will hear no more about this topic from me (unless prices drop drastically LOL). I couldn't take the stress anymore so I booked the $300 at Sun Country. NWA's prices have been so high, and most of their direct flights appear sold out already, so we decided to take the direct flights at Sun Country before they disappear too.

I think we paid $400 RT in Febuary from MSP. We could have gone cheaper, but we wanted to fly nonstop and the difference between getting the kids up at 4am and getting them up at 7am was $50 a ticket - so we spent an extra $200 to sleep in.

Erika, after reading your post I was ready to book on Sun Country as well but I kept putting it off. I guess being a procrastinator actually paid off for me this time!

Doc, what times did you get? I saw those Delta flights today (not that I can book them anyway) and the latest flight leaving MCO that I could find on Sunday was 7:50 am.

Erika, there was a later flight, around 7 PM I think, but we wouldn't have gotten in to MSP until midnight. We took the 7:50 am flight on Sunday. We would have liked a later departure time but at least this way the kids will have more time to get unpacked and ready for school on Monday.

We knew from our experience with Delta that we wouldn't be getting any direct flights and that the departure times would be limited. But for the fare we got we're willing to suffer through all that.
