Opinions on my dining choices

After talking to DD, 1900 Park Fare breakfast is one I think we want to do. I looked at the times and according to the Disney website breakfast last from 8am-11:50am. So I'm thinking a late breakfast would work well for us. We've never met Mary Poppins or the Mad Hatter.

Second guessing The Plaza, I know it's mostly sandwiches, but the menu does have items we will both eat. Plus I heard you get unlimited milkshakes, is that right? I thought DD would enjoy that although I doubt she'd drink more than one!

I wish Hollywood and Vine had better reviews, I really would like to try it, but with so many negative reviews, I'm hesitant to book it.

Hi, I don't usually finish even one full-size milkshake, so unlimited or not wouldn't be an issue to me, but I did also hear they have unlimited milkshakes at The Plaza. I'd still skip this place as it just looks unremarkable to me. Tusker House, 1900 Park Fare, and Sci Fi are all excellent choices. Not a fan of BOG food at all, but IMHO dinner is less bad than lunch, plus at dinner you get to meet the Beast, so I'd do dinner there if I went again at all. H&V lunch or dinner is fun for the characters in different costumes for each season, but I agree with the majority on this one that the food leaves something to be desired. Not that it's horrible, but it's about average. I would still go there sometimes for the characters, keeping food expectations low.

I absolutely LOVED 1900 PF breakfast. There was an omelet station where the chef prepared it according to your requested fillings...that was SO good. The characters were on point and so fun...especially the Mad Hatter. I would definitely do it again - with or without kids!

I wish I could help you with H&V but we too were not impressed and decided it was a "one and done" for us. The food was less than mediocre and the service was even worse. At the time, we did lunch and it was still the Disney Jr characters and we weren't impressed. I haven't been again to see Minnie and friends. But just from food and service alone - we don't plan to go back.
