I have booked and rebooked and changed my plans a million times, lol. But I'm still second guessing my plans (my husband thinks I have some weird obsession with booking meals, lol!!). It will be my, my hubby, and our 11 year old daughter. We are staying club level, so we did not book very many breakfasts (I'm planning on just eating in the club every morning). We are on the dining plan (1 qs, 1ts, and 2 snacks per day). Here is what we have:

Breakfasts:

Be Our Guest

Lunches:

Be Our Guest

Dinners:

The Wave (the menu looks a bit meh to me, but this was the hubby's pick)
Hoop De Doo
Teppan Edo
Sanaa
Narcoossee's (this adr is really late at night. thinking of swapping but not sure what to swap for)
Skipper's Canteen
Raglan Road
Jiko
Coral Reef
Ohana (we were not happy with this meal the last 2 trips, but it's been a tradition...should we swap it out?)

Any suggestions? We have decided that this will be our last trip until the new parts of hollywood studios opens. So it might be a while until we go back. I want to make sure I have some awesome meals!!! Any suggestions on meals that might be better than what we have? Thanks in advance!!!

You got some nice meals. My wife and I didn't like raglan road but I know people like it. We went right after they opened so that might of been the problem.

Breakfast at BOG is not worth it! Expensive and not that good. Keep it for lunch.
Best breakfast in our experience is:
1. Crystal Palace with early entry to park before crowds
2. Tusker House in AK
3. Kona cafe at Polynesian Resort...totally worth the trip.

Love BOG for lunch.
I would swap out a few TS dinners for lunch on some days. Provides a good break from heat and crowds.

Dinners:

The Wave (the menu looks a bit meh to me, but this was the hubby's pick) Food good but atmosphere is dark and dated. I would not go out of my way for this one unless staying at monorail resort.

Hoop De Doo
Teppan Edo
Sanaa
Narcoossee's (this adr is really late at night. thinking of swapping but not sure what to swap for) I would skip Narcosee. Expensive and mixed reviews. I would recommend California Grill instead if you want to do a fancier place. Both times we went the food was spectacular and you get an amazing view of Magic kingdom. Can see fireworks too. Great kids menu.

Skipper's Canteen
Raglan Road
Jiko
Coral Reef
Ohana (we were not happy with this meal the last 2 trips, but it's been a tradition...should we swap it out?)
I would keep ohana. We had bad experience once and went back several times and had good time. It depends on chef running kitchen. They change them out pretty often.

I did not comment on restaurants that I have never been to. If you do end up at HS we love 50s prime time and sci-fi. Just expand your quote to see my comments

If a meal as expensive as o'Hana had disappointed me twice, I would definitely choose something else! Lots of other places to try.

We did not like coral reef at all in September and there are soooo many great options in epcot.

Thanks for the reccomendations! I will check the menu for cali grill :) We do not have any lunches because I feel like I need to not be a sweaty mess to have a nice meal (we are going in june). My plan is to head back to the hotel and swim and shower before dinner everyday (except my epcot days, I plan to not get to the park until later in the day). I know I must sound like a crazy person, lol!

Not at all. Everyone does what works for them. We always head back to the resort too after lunch. It just gets too unberable in the afternoons. I love relaxing at the pool and then heading back in the parks in the evenings. Cali grill was a really big surprise for us. The flatbreads and the pork dishes are out of this world, but the views are what blew us away

I wouldn't do a breakfast and lunch at BOG, the food just isn't good enough to warrant it, IMO.

Your dinner list looks pretty good to me, but if you have not liked Ohana for 2 straight visits, I would consider something else.

Where are you staying? I am guessing a monorail resort?

I'm curious what you didn't like (and what you liked) at Ohana dinner? We've been for breakfast (liked the characters and interaction, eh on the food) but have never been for dinner. FWIW, our dinner "tradition" on arrival now seems to be 1900 Park Fare, if you're looking for a change. Decent food for a buffet, lovely interaction with the characters, and it's a great way to get into the Disney mood!

We tried Skipper's Canteen right when it opened, and were pleasantly surprised. The food was unique and very good, theming was excellent, service was great (our server stayed in character when we asked him how long the restaurant had been open, LOL).

The Wave - the food is pretty good but overall I wouldn't bother unless you are staying at CR and didn't want to travel too far. The Wave equivalents at Poly (Kona Cafe) and GF (GF Cafe) are better food and decor, I think. Which is not to say the Wave is bad - it's just that in comparison to the other restaurants available on the monorail....

Narcoossee's is good, but if the time isn't right and you want a signature/nice experience, Citrico's was quite good too.

I agree with the PP. I wouldn't do breakfast AND lunch at BOG unless you love the atmosphere in BOG. Personally, I would ditch the breakfast.

I think you've made good choices! Some I wouldn't go to (not a Teppan Edo fan - too salty), but you will get varying opinions on every restaurant on these boards! Our favorite TS in EP is Spice Road Table (and I would go there over Teppan and Coral Reef). Great food, lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff.

If Narcoosee's is too late (I'm not a big fan!), yes, I would swap it out. In the MK area, I would consider Cali Grill (view is spectacular) or Artist Point which has great food!

the food at be our guests is nothing short of mediocre at best. It is very cool to eat inside there because the place is visually stunning, but choose 1 or the other....no need for breakfast and lunch. Use one of those slots to see something else.

Charecter Breakfast at Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club is a hidden gem.

We are doing a split stay between animal kingdom lodge and grand floridan. We have sworn off Ohana breakfast entirely. When we did it last year, we had a late ressie. The characters went home befor visiting our table, and the food was cold and old (the waffles were like little bricks!!). We asked for new ones, and the second batch they sent was just as hard. It was an awful experience! Dinner seemed very rushed to me on our last 2 visits. It seems like they are more worried about turning the table over, than giving customers good service. I don't eat the meats, but the rest of the food was good to me (although I don't care for the new salad as much as the old one). But my daughter and hubby did not care for the meats. They found them to be very dry. They filled up on noodles, pot stickers and chicken wings (which my husband and daughter were perfectly happy with).

My daughter is really into seafood, which is why we picked narcoossee's. We have never tried cirtricos, I will have to check out the menu :)

Narcoossee's has not been getting great reviews lately-I would look at Cal Grill, Hollywood Brown Derby maybe do the Fantasmic Pkg, or Flying Fish. Ohana I would swap out with Cape May Dinner-it was our surprise hit last year

I agree 2 bog meals may be too much. I will ditch the lunch. The breakfast has my favorite meal on property (the assorted meats and cheeses platter). Thanks all!!

If your daughter is into seafood, you should definitely try Artist Point. It was such a nice surprise last time we went. The salmon on both the adult and kid's menu were both terrific, and the atmosphere was so relaxed.

Coral Reef and Teppan Edo are definitely not our favorites at Epcot. We typically do the deluxe plan, so a lot of TS, but those have not been great experiences for us. I really want to like Coral Reef, and we keep trying it, but I have just not been impressed with the food. As far as Teppan Edo, we have a similar restaurant 10 minutes from our house that is far superior. The kids don't like the fact they don't have a fried rice option, and just have not enjoyed the food nearly as much as our local place. If you don't have a similar restaurant you go to locally, I would definitely try it for the experience, but otherwise there are so many other choices in Epcot. Via Napoli is probably our family's favorite.

I know that Narcoosees has been getting some bad reviews lately, but I had an amazing meal there last spring. If you are staying at the GF and like the menu, I would absolutely give it a try. The benefit of a later meal is you may be there at the right time for fireworks, and not having to travel back to you hotel from another resort is a definitely plus.

I like BOG breakfast but given the changes to morning entry into the MK, I might ditch that one.

I like Narcoossees, but if the ADR is too late for the family, that one could be swapped for CG if there is an earlier time available, or maybe Citricos or Artist Point.

Skipper Canteen was among my DD's family favorites in July.

'Ohana would not even be on the list. If you meal was not good twice going, why add it on again? I knwo it was horrific on our last visit and I ma giving it a rest from our rotation. My family always wanted it so I always booked it, Now no one wants it.

My new DS favorite is Homcomin'. The food was really good, the service as well. It was a relaxing and tasty meal.

I dont see any Boardwalk ADR's and there are a few of my family favorites restaurants located there. Flying FIsh is really good, but the surprise favorite was Al Forno. On you Epcot day, I would consider have dinner on the Boardwalk, or in an Epcot resort.
