Opinions on MVMCP

Interested in comments from posters who have been to MVMCP in past years with children under 5.

My 2 boys last year 3 and 7 loved it....My oldest loved it because he got to stay on Space Mountain like 4 times....We rode most of the rides and saw the parade and a couple shows in that time keep in mind we entered on our MVMCP ticket at 4PM.....It was great and the characters were all over....its weel worth it to us and we are doing it again this year on the 7th

We've done it 3 times and I wish we were doing it again this year but we also enjoy MNSSHP so I alternated...but I WILL do MVMCP again next year if fate allows!

Oh and I have a 5 year old and a 8 year old and we first went when they were 1 and 4 years old. Just try and get naps in and bring a stroller.

The first time we went, it was not too crowded and we had a great time. My son was 4 and was excited by everything.

2 years later when he was 6, we had a horrible time. It was more crowed than I ever remember it being on a normal day. Long lines - strollers were EVERYWHERE. I left with a bloody heel from a stroller that was bashed into me. The only thing my son remembers was the lines.

MVMCP is probably the best time to do the MK. Be sure your child (and you) have a mid-day nap so that you can stay around for thr fireworks & parade. You'll find that the lines for the attractions are _much_ shorter during MVMCP. You'll also get a nice family photo.

We did MVMCP last year with a 15 month old, a 4 yr old, and a 6 yr old. WELOVED IT!! The lines were short but we didn't ride many rides. We watched the parade twice because my youngest was sleeping in the stroller during the first one so she got to see the second, although we probably woud've watched it anyway. We saw Mickey's Twas The Night Before Christmas. We all loved it. The kids liked riding on Dumbo when all the Dumbos had santa hats on. We got our hot cocoa and cookies. The "snow" on Main Street was exciting. For us, it was worth the money and the kids had a great time. We are going again this year on 12/5!!
