I've never been to Tony's because I have never read amazing reviews. We don't have to do parades so I'm neither here nor there on this but it's nice to try something new on a trip and cut on wait times for a parade. Have you done this package? It is too crowded at the flag pole? Previous trips it looked crowded. Do you need to be there earlier than the recommended time 15-35 minutes? Do you like the food at Tony's? What do you enjoy eating there? Do you like this package? Would you do it again? I really like the fantasmic package and this seems reminiscent to this.

My grandchildren wanted to do this in April and I have reservations so I would like to hear if anyone has done this too!!

Are there fast passes for the parade? Maybe that is a better option and you can pick your restaurant.

Curious too when / if anyone has or will do this. I booked it for Feb trip and it's the one reservation I am just not sure of.

I wouldn't eat at Tony's on purpose, but some people do like it.

1) I agree.
2) They do this to entice people to eat at Tony's (it is the ONLY eatery with this offer).
3) And, yes, the food is that bad.
4) Why else would Disney make the package offer? . . . They don't do it elsewhere in MK.

I actually really enjoyed my food at Tony's in January! And I have a ressie there for three weeks from today! (Woohoo!)
Will be getting the package with a fellow DISer so we'll see how great the parade is from the flagpole.

Were you able to book the package with the parade online? Or did you have to call to get it? When I look online, I can book Tony's, but there is no mention of the package with parade viewing...

I was able to book the parade package online. Look for it under "Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package", not "Tony's Town Square Restaurant."

The thing about parade viewing is you can view the parade from anywhere along it's route and you can the same view you get with the Tony's package. The view isn't better. You don't even really save any time either, since you'd still want to get there just about as early as you would over in say, FrontierLand, so you can have a spot along the rope in the viewing area. We find that even during busy times we can view the parade right at the rope, with no early arrival, if we head over to FrontierLand and hand around right where they have the path open to cross the parade route. They'll close it off as the parade gets near and you can walk up and stand right at that rope. I'd never use a FP or a dining package for a parade for that reason
