We'd like to make a couple more ADR's for our upcoming trip. Would love opinions. The places we've put up for consideration are:

Concourse Steakhouse (never been, thought it might be interesting, though it seems no one reviews it)

Kona (Hit it everytime, so was thinking maybe there was something else out there for us, that's why it hasn't made the list yet)

Boma (same as Kona)

Whispering Canyon Cafe (Seems to be a popular favorite at the time, but not neccessarily the best food)

Raglan Road (Just not sure we want to take a trip to downtown disney, our trip is relaxed as well as packed with our 18 month old)

Thanks for you input!

I haven't been to the others, but I seriously loved Boma. We were there last November and it was seriously the best place we ate on our whole trip. There is a lot of variety and plenty of food. Plus, there are plenty of kids choices for picky eaters (which was perfect for my nephew). It is a little crowded there, but when we went everyone was polite and it wasn't extremely noisy. If you like fish, be sure to try the salmon! The best salmon dish I ever had and all you can eat!! (sigh) wish I was there right now.:upsidedow

I will be going to disney for christmas and we have reservations for boma, although I haven't ate there before I am glad to hear someone say it is good because I was worried. Also to hear the salmon dish was great because I love salmon thanks for the post!

Whispering Canyons is SOOOOO much fun. The food is good, not great, but you go there for the entertainment, and fun anyways!

Well, you're certainly in the right place if you want opinions... :rotfl:

Concourse Steakhouse (never been, thought it might be interesting, though it seems no one reviews it)

Maybe it's because it's a little too pricey for most folks? :confused3

Seriously... We've been by there a time or two, and from the looks of the menu/prices I've always just felt there were more memorable Disney dining experiences for less money. But that's just been my perception; your mileage may vary.

Kona (Hit it everytime, so was thinking maybe there was something else out there for us, that's why it hasn't made the list yet)

Never been. Always dined at Ohana when we've been to the Polynesian.

Boma (same as Kona)

Been there once. Interesting experience, but approach the buffet tables with an open mind. If your culinary horizons are kinda narrow you might not like this too much.

Whispering Canyon Cafe (Seems to be a popular favorite at the time, but not neccessarily the best food)

The fare is good, particularly if you like a trail chef's version of 'comfort food.' But yes, it's a fun experience for those who don't take their dining too seriously. Just be sure to ask for ketchup if you've never been. ;)

Raglan Road (Just not sure we want to take a trip to downtown disney, our trip is relaxed as well as packed with our 18 month old)

DTD isn't too bad with an 18-month-old... at least it wasn't with ours (though we did have to watch and make sure he hadn't snatched a plush toy off the displays before walking out). :rotfl:

Concourse Steakhouse: Although we have not eaten there since 2005, we really enjoyed CS! The service was excellent & the food was delish. Although you can hear much of the hoopla from Chef Mickey's, we found the CS to be a nice relaxing change

Kona: Just ate there a few weeks ago. The food was good and the service was excellent! The atmosphere was both hectic yet relaxing atht eh same-if that makes sense. :)

Whispering Canyon Cafe: Last year, we were a party of nine (ages 2 to 50) at the WCCC and everyone had a great time! I was pleasantly surprised with the food-it was quite good. Excellent service and a fun atmosphere. Yet we were lucky to get a great server-others servers we saw that night were not into the whole thing like our server was.

Raglan Road: Just ate here also a few weeks ago. Ahhh, a wonderful place! definitely worth the trip to DD! If the menu looks good to you, you won't be disappointed!

If you have any specific questions, ask away! :upsidedow

Also found food at Concourse to be excellent The Filets were the best!! Only complaint we were rushed. Entree was brought to us before our appies were finished. I didn't like that but otherwise service was fine!~!
