Hi. Here is my question. My daughter (age 20) and I are going to Paris in January. We have one day that is free and I am thinking of a one-day visit to DLP. Is it possible? We are vets of WDW and DL and don't feel the need to do everything. We'd just like to check it out.

So, what do you think? And why? Thanks!

It is definately possible - the station is at the entrance to the parks. It would be a shame to come that far and not see it. It is a beautiful park :thumbsup2

I would definately have a visit (I have been to WDW and DL as well as DLRP too.) Maybe concentrate on the rides unique to DLRP. Go up inside the castle and visit the dragon in the basement. Do BTMRR as it is unique in that is it located on an islands in the middle of the lake. Alices labyrinth is cool too and Indy is different to WDW and DLRP (it is a looping coaster.) Oh and Space Mountian is not like the ones in America (looping coaster.) The Lion King show is also very good, like Aladdin in California Adventure. In the studios Crush's coaster is unique (but that gets long lines and does not have FP.) Plus Anamagique and Cinemagique shows are unique too.

I hope you have a fab trip.

I think it's very possible to be honest...

As veterans of WDW and especially DL, you should find that you'll know where everything is very quickly - the reverse was certainly true for me recently as the parks are laid out amazingly similarly.

There are a good number of both subtle and not so subtle differences between DLRP and the US parks, so if you're in the area, it's definitely worth popping in for a day to discover these differences for yourself.

Plus in January, the queues are usually light enough that you'll be able to see a huge amount of the park in that one day.

I'm also a veteran of many visits to DLR and WDW and just returned from my first visit to DLRP. I can highly recommended a trip there, even if it is for one day (we had two glorious days there). The parks are beautiful and I must admit that DLR is now my favorite of the three. If you like Coasters, I would try to squeeze Crush's Coaster into the day as it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
