Well I made all my adrs for upcoming trip about 2 weeks ago and I have the Whispering Canyon for 11/3 at 9:10 pm has anyone been there this late and if so what is it like?I planned to do AK for the evening extra hours and wanted to make sure had enough time to get to dinner.Also I need to Know what is the best way to get from the park to the Wilderness Lodge for the res. I am just worried with a late res that things will be quiet and rushed don't know what time the restaurant closes and don't really want to feel like I am keeping someone from being able to do their work and go home after a long day!

10:00 PM. It's often booked solid during busy times. If there are people there then it's likely to have the normal antics going on.

Getting from Animal Kingdom to the Wilderness Lodge is pretty easy. Parks connect to all Disney resorts. Sometimes resorts may share buses. I'm guessing WL may share with Ft Wilderness but am not sure. You should allow at least an hour for transportation. The buses are supposed to run every 20 minutes or so but you are never certain on how long the wait will be once get to the stop. Plus you are going to opposite corners of WDW.

Getting back to your resort will be a little different. Resorts don't connect so you usually have to go to the TTC, DTD or a park to connect.

You cannot connect to resorts through TTC, unless it's between monorail resorts. There are no resort buses there.

Depending on what resort you are staying at, you will have to determine the best route back to your resort from WL. Bus transport will have to transfer at a theme park or Downtown Disney. There are no direct buses between resorts. With a reservation that late, you will probably be transferring at Downtown Disney.

hi. i'm going there for the first time on my upcoming trip and we have a 9:40 ADR. You can see the electric water pageant go by sometime around 9pm from the back dock, also i have it on my notes to go back to our resort by taking the red flag boat to the MK and then getting on the resort transportation.

From what i've read, having a late ADR doesnt matter as far as food quality, just hope i'm awake and hungry at that time.

We are staying at Pop so I am guessing that we will have to take bus to dtd then bus to Pop.So is the only form of transportation to the Wilderness Lodge from the AK a bus?
