Opinions needed - Park Tickets

Family of 5, we have one day non expiring park hopper ticket left. I’m deciding if we should use that ticket on this vacation or just buy a new ticket and keep that one for another year. We definitely will be returning sometime in the future.
Please Need opinions on advantages or disadvantages.

Just use it. People justify holding onto them by saying “I should save the ticket and use it next year when park tickets will be even more expensive”. That will ALWAYS be the case. Use the money you’d spend on the tickets to pay for Genie+ and a paid fast pass (I refuse to call them lightning lanes) and a nice sit down meal on your trip.
