I was thinking of making LTT adr's, but I am getting leary on it. This is our honeymoon and while the food sounded good and it looked really cute I am getting a bit on edge about the menu saying stoffers mac and cheese, and others have said it's stoffers microwaved food. I rather find another good place if this is the case. Anyone have any opinions based on if the food really is microwaved things? Thank you in advance :bride:

I would definitely eat at LTT! The food is really good, and the atmosphere can't be beat. I don't know if the macaroni and cheese is Stouffer's, but even if it is, I would still eat there. To me, it didn't taste the same as the frozen ones you would buy at the grocery store. That is a very small part of the really great meal. I don't believe any of the other food is microwaved. The meat is really good and tender, and I loved the cobbler for dessert. For once, it was a restaurant offering mashed potatoes that didn't taste fake and gross.

why not book lunch? we have enjoyed lunch here several times. just keep in mind no characters are there at lunch. have a great honeymoon trip!

We went in June with our children and loved it. I am definately adding it to our list to be a regular. It is a perfect home-cooked feel type of meal. I never thought any of the food was bland or tasted like microwave food. The characters were amazing too. They made their rounds 3 times.

:thumbsup2 I love the dinner served at LTT. The food is good and didn't taste microwaved to me at all. The characters are great and I love the atmosphere. I say try it.

Dh and I hated it - it did taste processed to us. If you want a character meal, we love making a late ADR at Crystal Palace. A variety of food, mostly tastly, and you can watch the parade go by as you eat.

We were also leary of eating at LTT because of what we had been reading about it. We deciced to go ahead and try it anyway and we are glad we did. Both my husband and I really enjoyed the meal and didn't think it tasted frozen or processed at all.

Use the boards as a guide but remember that everyone's likes and dislikes are different.

We really liked this meal--especially the flank steak, salad, and rolls! The characters stopped at our table several times too.

This is a must do for my family when we are there. We have done lunch twice and both times been pleased. At lunch there is a menu you can choose from. Very nice place to sit, relax, and eat. The food is good. We were on the ddp and had appetizer, meal, and dessert. All good. No complaints here! :)

We ate there in May for the first time & loved it!!
Good food & great character interaction.
It has now become one of our "must dos" each trip, along with Chef Mickey's & WCC.

Last December our family ate there for dinner & for lunch. We loved it both times. The character interaction at dinner was great. We actually had the same server both days & he was terrific. At dinner we loved the salad & vegetables. The ham was great. It was so nice to be seated & to be served rather than doing a buffet. We enjoy buffets but sometimes at WDW they can be a little hectic when waiting for the characters. :cool1:

We had lunch at LTT in May - loved it. I had their chicken, apple, pecan salad which was delicious and definitely didn't come out of an orange box and go into a microwave! :rotfl: DH had a pasta dish which he liked as well. We both had really good desserts there - I had a berry shortcake with ice cream which was huge and yummy and fresh as can be. It was a really nice reprieve in the middle of a hot day at MK. Our server was excellent.

We just ate at TLL for the first time on July 7 and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the characters. I read somewhere on the DIS boards that if you like Thanksgiving type food, you will like TLL, and I think that's accurate. The service was also great. I'm not a mac and cheese eater, but my husband is and he finished the bowl. We will definitely go back!

We love it. It is one of our must-do restaurants. The food is good and filling and the characters come around to every table.

We always love the food at LTT. The mac and cheese was such a small portion of the meal. You can eat it or skip it!! Didn't taste microwaved to me and we've eaten there many times!!!

Been there 2 times and going back for the 3rd in September. Love the family style meal and the characters.:cool1:

Very bland, very tan. Wouldn't be surprised if the food comes straight from the freezer case and microwave. It tastes that way. I think that LTT's lunch menu looks more appealing, although we haven't done that. We really like the lunch and dinner at Crystal Palace--definitely better food, imho.

Even if you go and don't like the food, it's fun.

Enjoy!!

Since there's only the two of you (and I'm assuming that because you're on your honeymoon), I would skip it.

Hubby and I did LTT last May and it was one of our worst dining experiences ever. With an ADR, we had to wait 45 minutes for our table. We saw all kinds of parties that were larger than ours being seated within 5-10 minutes of checking in.

Our server was the worst -- we spent 15 minutes waiting for him to greet us and/or take our order, while others all around us were being served. His excuse was the computer was down. It's a set meal -- how difficult is it to take our drink order and bring out the rest of the food?

He brought our drinks after about another 10 minutes. And then 10-15 minutes after that, we received salad. Other servers brought the salad with beverages. When he finally brought the rest of our dinner, we found out how small our table for two really was. We literally had half of our plates hanging off the edge of the round table. It was a near miracle that we didn't end up with food in our laps. And I would have nearly died of thirst before our server came back with a refill.

My main goal that evening was to eat at LTT (which I really wanted to like, but obviously, didn't) and see Wishes. Our sever took so long bringing our check that I missed Wishes and hubby was soooooo mad. When it took so long for us to even be greeted by our server, we should have gotten up and left through the side door that was across from our table.

If I ever go back and there are only 2 of us, I will definitely make an ADR for 3 people, because the table that was deemed appropriate for a party of 2 was anything but.

If you do choose LTT, I sure hope your dining experience will be better than ours was. princess:

:thumbsup2 I've eaten at LTT several times, and have never been disappointed. All of the food was fresh and tastey, never tasted "processed". And the character interaction is great!!!
Go for it!!
