IF I TRY THE FIRST OR SECOND WEEK IN AUGUST TO GET A RES. FOR BCV'S (7 MONTHS OUT) FOR MARCH 7-13TH OF 2010. DO YOU ALL THINK I WILL HAVE ANY LUCK IN SECURING A RESERVATION???

Hmm...can you wait 35 days to book? I know I couldn't! You will get much better deals ($8-10) when you can buy the overabundance of SSR points. This year with the new Kidani, BLT and the treehouse villas, it should take a little off the BCV demand...but as the smallest with the best pool and walk in access to Epcot...If my heart was set, I'd grab now at first $10 offer, but I wouldn't pay more than that


Disboards has a volunteer system for resort availability, it really doesn't say what is available (if no one reports) but it does tell you what dates are not available. Right now you are ok (see below)

I got a reservation at BCV for July of this year at the seven month window. It's the first time I've ever been able to get BCV -- and I've tried several times. So I agree with previous poster. The new resorts seem to be taking the pressure off of BCV and BWV a little. I'd say your chances are better than they used to be.

We have stayed at the BCV at least once every year we've owned DVC. We have stayed in April, May, July (mulitple times), August (multiple times), and September (multiple times). We've never had a problem at 7 months out getting a villa.

I got BCV at the 7 month window for the first TWO weeks of May (Studio). I also got a studio for my DD and family for the second week of May at the 7 month window.

I have gotten a 2 bedroom at BCV at the 7 month window for mid August, 3 years in a row now.

However, when we go in October, I always use my 11 mnth window for BWV. It all really depends on when you go. We seldom go near any holiday and we are flexible.
