So now with the prospect of having this new add on it totally changes my future DVC plans! I could really use some opinions! :thumbsup2

How many of you have stayed Concierge at Jambo? We are looking at a Friday and Saturday night there in a 2 bedroom which is A LOT of points. Did you feel it was the worth the extra points? Did you miss having a third bathroom (vs Kidani)? We would be bringing my parents along and our daughters' friend making it 9 of us (8 + a baby). Would we feel crowded?

To those who've stayed in a Treehouse...did you like it? We wouldn't have a car so we'd have to rely on Disney Transportation. Did you stay in a treehouse close to The Grandstand? If so, did you walk to the Grandstand bus stop or just strictly use the shuttle? I like the idea of three bedrooms for the 9 of us, but after watching a video tour online it looks a little small.

For OKW lovers.....tell me about Turtle Pond. I saw a video tour of it on youtube and it looks like such a cute area of the resort! Is there a jacuzzi at the turtle pond pool? Do they serve food there too?

I know that's a lot of questions, but I really appreciate any input I can get! :worship:

The time to book 2012 is approaching and we need to come up some solid plans!

Thanks!!!

I can't speak for many of your questions, as I have not stayed in Concierge nor the Treehouse villas. OKW is a very nice resort, and the rooms are a bit larger, so that may help with your group's number.

Nine should fit ok in a 2BR. We have had 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) in an OKW 2-BR (dedicated), and no one slept in the living room area ;). Also, it had a large dining table, which fit 10 of us fine (6 adults and 4 kids).

You may want to consider this with yourself, your DH, and the baby. Your parents are going to want space, so the main bedroom (with a King bed) will be their best option.

With 4 non-infant kids, they will fit nicely in the other bedroom with 2 queen size beds. This will allow them all to pair up in a bed (or set up sleeping bags and spread out if desired. You can also close them off and the baby (and your movements) won't disturb them if they turn-in before you.

The foldout couch beds are fairly nice (and comfy), and you'll have access to the kitchen and bathrooms without really disturbing the others.

Good luck!

We enjoyed the Treehouse. We had a car, however, we mostly used the shuttle.

If the children stay in the bunk bed room and your parents sleep in the other bedroom then you should have plenty of room. The baby can easily sleep in the master room without being crowded. We didn't use the living area beds at all and we didn't feel crowded. If you intend to use all of the available beds then you might feel a little crowded. I am a little unclear about what the ages of the children are. I also find that my kids will be comfortable just about anywhere and they like sleeping in the living room.

Thank you so much guys!

After talking it through last night we've ruled out concierge. We don't think we'd be around the resort enough to take advantage of the offerings. Perhaps in the future when the kids are grown and it's just hubby and I we'll try out concierge!:thumbsup2

At the 11 month window I think we are going to book 2 nights in a treehouse if we can get it and 4 nights at Kidani. Then possibly at 7 months switch the whole thing to either OKW or treehouse for the whole stay. :confused3

The OKW turtle pond is real nice, and if I could not stay in HH area, then that is 2nd choice. It has a jacuzzi by pool. I know they had a thing that served snacks and drinks but don't remember if it was more than snacks. They have shuffleboard there and were returning playground area lsdt time thru. It is a quiet pool. We own at SSR but gave yet to stay at THV. I think it would be really fun. Good luck.
