It's nice. Good use of color and texture... but not up my alley. I'm into art that's more subtle.

I actually really like it. It's interesting and I love the comparison between the lady and the statue. I prefer abstract/weird stuff myself but this is really cool looking.

Honestly, it's the kind of art I would expect to see in poster form on the wall of a head shop.

I'm kind of confused. What kind of feedback are you looking for, and why the DISboards?

FWIW, I liked the use of texture in the piece and would like to see more, but I also thought it lacked compositional tension. The subject matter seems highly appropriate to things I see in science fiction and fantasy publications, and I imagine there's a substantial market for this kind of work. I wouldn't buy it, but that's me.

I've seen Jonathon Earl Bowser's work on the internet before. Sorry, its not my style at all. I really don't like the way the light is coming through the trees, not at all natural.

Of the two you have posted, I do like this one better than the one of the woman in the white dress however.

Its something that you will tire of as you mature. In 10 years you'll have it stuffed in a closet.
