Operation Big Thunder: the Dole Whip Conspiracy COMPLETE

Wed already made the strategic decision to split up once we got through the gate. Julie and Sarah would do the Toy Story Mania FastPass run, while I took the boys to try and sign up for Jedi Training Academy. Wed offered the chance to face Vader to all of the kids, and I thought theyd all want to try it (having seen the show before), but only Scotty wanted to sign up. Sarah and Dave love Star Wars just as much as Scotty, but I guess they were feeling camera-shy.
......

Scotty must have used the Force, which can be a powerful tool against the weak-minded, because they signed him up for the 11:00 show. Wed gotten there right at Rope Drop, and there werent that many people in line ahead of us, but theyd already filled up 2 shows and were halfway through another. I thought something was a little fishy there--is there a way to reserve spots before you even get to the park?

............

We met up at Star Tours and got in line for our first ride of the day. Id heard there was a random Darth Vader scene you could get that was really cool. So that was the part we hoped to see.

.........

Thought your apostrophe button broke... ''''''''''''

Unless I'm losing it.... I'm no grammar police. I'm the worst with spelling and the like- LOL

That’s something that the message board started doing for us fairly recently.
It causes me problems all the time.

If you edit a post, nine times out of ten, the editor will incorrectly retranslate apostrophes and ellipsis characters in particular into something unreadable or an ampersand. I then have to go back in and re-re-correct the changes that the editor has inflicted on me.

Bill Gates would have referred to it as “a feature”

Frustrating.

Oh, thanks for the info Rob. I wonder how many apostrophes are missing on my TRs. :lmao:

What a great 'feature'! :badpc:

Very strange. Now I guess I have to go back and edit the chapters?

I only encounter it when I’m editing an existing post. I don’t see the problem in your last update though.
Maybe it has something to do with the browser being used :confused3:

Like I said, I have to keep an eyeout for it (‘cause I do a lot of editing :sad2:)

we dont need any kind of apostrophes or punctuation at all its all way overrated anyway there just isnt any need for it

:lmao:

Naaaaa...
Folks might confuse it with my writin’…

An’ ya’; don’t want that to be a happenin’, now do ya’?

Just to be safe, I'll write the next chapter in Morse Code.

Okay, for my second guess for the lie I'll say that you did indeed get the meatball sub (it's the closest thing to a hamburger at Pinocchio Village Haus), but that Julie did not get a flatbread....she got a salad.

Yeah, but a meatball sub has marinara sauce on it, while a hamburger has ketchup. Completely different.

2 lies in this chapter, and both of them were found. Julie did not order a flatbread, also known as a "pizza"--she got a meatbull sub just like mine. So Glenn gets 10 points for that one. And she wasn't feeling lightheaded--she was simply a trooper and took one for the team so we could ride Thunder Mountain in the dark. Cynthia found that one.

Sweet! Thanks for not taking points away when I expounded on my guess by saying she got a salad.

I figured the important part is that you spot the lie, not come up with the total complete truth. :thumbsup2

Besides, I practically drew a neon light around that one in the chapter and though somebody should get it. :rotfl:
