Caught up!3 wonderful updates under my belt and the best part - I can SEE your pictures!
The pictures of TL are gorgeous and I am going there this summer, for sure, since we purchased PAP vouchers. I haven't been for years. All I remember is the Crush n Gusher goes fast. Hope I can talk Denny into doing it with me.
I hope he does! Crush 'n Gusher was awesome. Totally worth trying out!
So, I am going to skip on the Star War movie references only because I am nursing a ridiculous cold and can't concentrate to save my life.![]()
Ugh. Sorry to hear that. Hope you're feeling better.
Dinner at Kona sounds super yummy. I really love that restaurant. And I was expecting some terrible transportation mojo, but I think you hit it just right.
We did have some wait, as usual. But nothing out of the ordinary. Kona really is terrific. It's become a regular in the rotation.
Thanks for the recap of the Jedi training academy. I know that one of my nephews really wants to do it and I know it fills up fast, So you go straight to Sounds Dangerous to sign up?
They'd love it! Yes, get there at rope drop and head for Sounds Dangerous. I have heard about sign-ups occasionally being held at a table near the gates before Rope Drop, or outside by the Jedi stage. But most of the time it's at Sounds Dangerous. You can always ask a CM when you get there. I asked one on the way just to make sure I was heading to the right place. They had a sign out in front of the Sounds Dangerous building, too.
CALLING ALL GEEKS!
At least all the geeks of the Disney and Star Wars varieties.
The Walt Disney Company has acquired LucasFilm!
(Mark, since your last update was Star Wars themed and there are Star Wars quotes in every update, this just seemed like the logical place to share this news.)
So... there is a new Star Wars movie slated for 2015 and I'm a little anxious to hear about any plans that may arise for an expansion of the Star Wars area at Hollywood Studios.
Pretty cool stuff!
No problem, Connie!
And yes, that is cool news. It'll be interesting to see how they handle the new movies. And of course, now the fanboy dream of a Star Wars vs. Avengers movie is a possibility. (not a good one, but still)
I mentioned in the Dads thread that at last we can finally see a proper version of Howard the Duck on-screen.

I saw that , Connie, and thought that that will ensure that Star Wars Weekends continue on for quite some time.
The deal was for over $4 billion, by the way. That's a lot of galactic credits!
$4 billion?! I might as well buy my own ship for that!
