Hello, We are staying offsite and I am starting to wonder what time is a good time to be at the gates waiting to enter the parks.
Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00, Disney resort guests use early entry at 8:00, what time can offsite guests enter the park? How do they know if guests are offsite or Disney resort guests? Do I have to wait until 9:00 to enter? I am just trying to determine what time to wake everybody up in the mornings and what time to be at the parks. Thanks for any help.

If you are an off-site guest and the park opens at 9am, then 9am is the earliest you are allowed in.

Disney knows you are not on-site because if you try to enter an "early opening" park, you will be asked to show your resort ID. No ID, no entrance.

You will need to wait until the "official" opening time of the park. Occasionally, they'll let people in 15 min early, or so, depending on crowds, but generally, the turnstiles start spinning at 9am.
