Hey all

If the park opens at 9:00, I was wondering if someone could tell me the approximate times of the following...

What time does TTC parking lot open?
What time does ferry and monorail start to run?
What time should I plan to arrive at the TTC if I want to be one of the first in line at the turnstiles?
If parks open at 9:00 what time do they start letting folks through the turnstiles?

BTW we are talking late April, moderate crowds (hopefully) :)

Thanks!

I presume you are talking about non early entry days (which are days when Disney resort guests can enter the park at 7.30). For MK they are Thursday and Sunday and I think should be avoided.

Apparently the parking lots never officially close, although parking attendants should be there from 7-7.30 and the disney transport should kick off about the same time. I think, however, getting to the park lot for about 8'Oclock will ensure that you're near enough the front to take advantage of the lighter crowds of the early morning. Make sure you purchase admission in advance.

Depending on the crowds Disney officials will either open the whole park at 9 or open Main Street at 8.30 and then the rest of the park at 9.

I'm not sure when they actually open the turnstiles. It seems to me it's at least 1/2 hour before "rope drop". Getting to the MK early is a great idea, not only because you'll beat some of the crowd, but they have a really cute & fun opening show that they do.

Plus, if you get there early enough you may be the family that is chosen to be part of this opening.

It's a lot of fun to watch. If you're going to make the effort to get there early for rope drop, then you won't want to miss this. :D

Just back from a late Feb. trip and here was our experience at MK opening on a non-EMH day.

We took the 8:15 apx. bus from BWI to MK.
Went thru security and were in line by 8:40.
8:45 a character, a woman dressed in turn of the century clothes came out of the train station and started a pre-opening show. There were about 10 singers and dancers, then the train came in the station carrying characters and the lucky family who were intoduced, they threw pixie dust and opened the park. The gates opened and we went in, it was 8:50.
The characters were all over town square doing meet and greet.
We headed strait to Tomorrowland and there was about 25 people there with a CM, right at 9:00 they did rope drop. Most people headed to SM, we went to Buzz, did it twice in a row then split, some to SM, others to Speedway. Also did teacups and astro-orbiter in that first hour, all practically walkons. Things got much busier around 10:00

Good luck.:D
