Total: 9512.96

Started calling at 8 am. Finally got a line at 9:45 am and was on hold for approx an hour and a half.

Tried for a Secret porthole cabin but was told all 10As are already gone. CM commented that this was a very popular cruise this morning.

We had originally made an OBB for the 4 of us in one cabin, but have had to go to 2 cabins since the teenagers are now too tall to fit in the bunk beds anymore.

The OBB benefits could only be reapplied to one cabin.

Checked out a deluxe inside stateroom (for the connecting door and split bathroom options) and was told it would cost an additional $418, so $5419 - kids will be ok without a connecting door.

Transfers to and from port were quoted at $40 pp. insurance quoted at $745.72.

No Disney hotels prior to cruise have been set up yet that the CM could see.

I called back (my 2nd call) and changed one of my holds (and cancelled the other) and I have not received that email whereas this morning when I got through after 20 mins, emails were coming through right away. I commented to the DCL rep that my email confirmation has not come through and she said due to how busy they were everything was delayed. I'm still waiting on my email confirmation so I'm hoping it's just a hiccup in their system now.

I'm planning on calling Costco Travel tomorrow morning. I know which cruise, category, and even which cabins I want (need a handicap accessible for my daughter with adjoining).

This is exactly what we are looking to do - the Dover then the 5 night Med! So I may well be in touch about the Coach, but we are currently in Sussex so would have to get to Gatwick to leave the car for the flight home before getting to wherever the coach is.

That's a lot of dosh though. We are starting from nothing and don't have any discounts. The equivelant is about £6-£6.5k and then flights etc on top. Hmmm. We were looking at a 10a but I may have to drop down to the 11s. Have you been in 11b before? We will be travelling with a 4 and 7 year old.

Paid the deposit, but having a bit of buyers remorse. Those prices are a bit steep. We are now looking into RCL for the same week, almost same itinerary, and in (smaller) inside stateroom for about $1,600 less. It is even harder to swallow the price when we normally sail 5E or better. We have sailed inside before. But prefer verandah on longer cruises.

Just not sure at this point.

PS. Not sure if it was just my luck, but my call was through travel agent line and was 4 hours and 13 minutes. I saw others who have waited much less. So really, bad luck I guess. I really was about to give up at that point.
