Hi all!

Just a quick question. (Well 2 quick questions actuallly!).
1- Does DLP have some sort of opening ceremony each day, like at WDW, where Minnie and Mickey get off the Disney World Train at Main Street Station and sing a song with dancers?
2- We're going April 19th. The park opens at 10.00am each day. What time should we start to queue to be in prime position at rope drop?

Thanks in advance. I'm sure I'll have loads more before the big day. In fact, I've got 2 more already. I'll post them tomorrow as I can hear my Little one crying on the monitor!

I'm so excited!

No we don't have an opening ceremony in the Disneyland Park.
Mickey is near the station to meet guests entering the park at around 9.30am though.

As you are going on a Wednesday I'd say 5/10 minutes before 10am will be sufficent to get in-front of your desired land for the rope drop. And Main Street opens at 9.30am.

The studios have a small opening ceremony, when the doors open you have some characters welcoming you to the studios and all the cast members clap and cheer you as you arrive "on set". 45 mins later there is the "good morning walt disney studios parade/meet and greet". But if your visiting for just one day then Im sure you'll want to spend it all in the Disneyland Park

Have a great time!!! And anymore questions ask away! :bounce:

There has never been an opening ceremony when we have been but Mickey now waves goodbye when the park closes.
The gates can open 15 minutes before the official opening :)
